Imran Khan has raised serious concerns about his health and prison conditions. Barrister Salman Safdar briefed the media about Imran Khan’s untreated vision loss, denial of access to personal doctors, and prolonged solitary confinement for both him and his wife.
Barrister Safdar further added that Bushra Khan is also suffering from eye problems and the same board that examined Imran Khan would examine her.
Both Imran Khan and Bushra Khan are being treated extremely inhumanely in their arbitrary detention. Both of them must be granted immediate medical attention in the presence of their family and personal physicians.

We strongly appeal to the United Nations and other international human rights organizations to take notice of the injustice being done to our father and to raise their voice for justice. @hrw@UNHumanRights
Today, I had the honour of speaking to the 47 countries that comprise the @UN#HumanRightsCouncil urging the immediate release of my father @imrankhanpti and all #Pakistan’s #politicalprisoners. Along with this, I want to be very clear. Like my father, I fully support maintaining GSP+ as the people of #Pakistan should never be punished for the actions of its leaders. But the Pakistani regime must also fully comply with the 27 treaties it committed to follow to obtain this benefit, including the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and Convention Against Torture. @UN@ptiofficial #HumanRights #ImranKhanUnlawfullyDetained
I’m incredibly grateful to all the Test captains who’ve called for fair treatment for my father. It’s heartening to see support from these legends of the game.
May Allah pak give @ImranKhanPTI shifa 🤲
lots and lots of prayers day and night and especially during the month of Ramadan.
Imran khan is and will always by my inspiration and leader ❤️

@SuhailZubaid I will!!!! He hosted me for a dinner in Pakistan, as an MP, to share ideas on the judiciary being above politics, visited the cancer hospital dedicated to his mother and welcomed him to my home in Mississauga when he did a hospital fundraising tour. A real believer in democracy!
My brother and I are trying to travel to Pakistan to see our father. For 914 days, he has been held in solitary confinement while his health deteriorates and he is denied access to independent medical care.
Now the government is deliberately refusing to process our visas. Denying a prisoner treatment is cruel. Denying his children the right to see him is collective punishment. I call on international human rights organisations and governments to speak out and act before irreversible harm is done.
A detailed report by the “Amicus Curiae” appointed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan on the health and prison conditions of arbitrarily detained former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan reveals disturbing details of serious human rights violations, inhumane treatment, psychological torture, and deliberate medical neglect, which has resulted in 85% vision loss in his right eye. Here are some highlights from the report:
We have been informed that my father, Imran Khan, has lost most of the vision in his right eye, with reports indicating only 15% eyesight remains. This is the direct consequence of 922 days of solitary confinement, medical neglect (denied blood tests) and the deliberate denial of proper treatment in jail.
The responsibility lies squarely with the regime in power, the Army Chief and the puppets enabling this cruelty. This physical deterioration is happening under their orders, their watch and their responsibility. They have manipulated and warped the justice system in order to keep my father in solitary confinement.
My brother and I are still being denied visas to see our father as his health deteriorates. History will record this injustice.
We urge human rights bodies, legal institutions and democratic nations to confront this persecution and ensure those responsible face consequences.
Thank you Karachi for your momentous & passionate support for our jalsa last night. This is our fight for democracy & the sovereignty of Pakistan & against a US-initiated regime change conspiracy abetted by local abettors & corrupt political mafia. #امپورٹڈ_حکومت_نامنظور
“I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Lady Annabel Goldsmith. My family shared this heartbreaking news with me today while I am in prison.
Annabel was a wonderful grandmother to my sons and an exceptionally kind and compassionate person. During my visits to London, I would stay with her along with my sons. She became like a mother to me, especially after losing my own mother in 1985.
Her passing is a profound loss. My heartfelt thoughts are with all her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all of us. If I were not in prison, I would have attended her funeral along with my sons, Sulaiman and Kasim”
Illegaly incarcerated Imran Khan's message from Adiala Jail (October 21, 2025)
The Commonwealth confirms what every Pakistani knows: the elections were rigged, democracy was dismantled, and an unelected government was imposed against the will of the people.
PTI - the voice of the majority - was silenced while our father remains in prison. Pakistan suffers under illegitimate rule, but illegitimacy cannot last. The people’s mandate will outlive tyranny and restore Pakistan’s rightful course.
