The former Treasurer for an Orange County high school football booster club was arrested by FBI Agents this morning in Aliso Viejo, assisted by the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

Julie Hanway Molina, 56, was charged in an indictment returned by a federal grand jury with defrauding a nonprofit created to financially support a high school football team, an organization for which she served as treasurer, out of more than $400,000, in part, to pay the delinquent balance on her home’s mortgage.

Molina, who was charged with four counts of wire fraud, is expected to make an initial appearance today in U.S. District Court in Santa Ana. @USAO_LosAngeles

If anything, many executives and senior researchers will couch their phrasing in the press to sound sensible - but I hear the same people express fear privately. No other human activity poses this level of danger.

Jacob is correct here—we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is >10% within the next decade. I believe Anthropic is trying its best, but we do not yet have a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence and are not clearly on track to.

If you are a woman in Los Angeles that goes to the beach be careful

This woman was pulling into Will Rogers State Beach. There were 2 guys and a woman that nearly abducted her, likely to trafficking her

One man was a short Mexican guy, the woman in the vehicle was a black woman and there was a skinny white guy

The 2 men surrounded her car, the Mexican guy told the skinny white guy not to take her and find someone else

They ended up arguing and coming back to her car, she quickly left wiling to run them over. The man moved out of the way of her car and as she was fleeing a black woman, she describes in detail, was in a vehicle giving orders. She was was very clearly one of the main people in the operation

Luckily she had a large knife and was able to get into her vehicle

Los Angeles has become a dangerous place under Democrats, always be alert. This could easily be any women who’s just innocently going for a jog on the beach

Yes. ICE removed Jay Dabelus to Haiti. What the Associated Press conveniently left out of this gotcha piece is that he has dual citizenship in Bahamas AND Haiti.

An immigration judge ordered Dabelus removed from the country years ago, but he had a HAITIAN passport and stayed in the U.S. based on his HAITIAN citizenship.

So, yes. ICE removed Jay Dabelus to Haiti.
