@AngAesthetics@IFFFMEISTER But Hebrews 4:14 seems to offer a totally different view of approaching God. And where is the place of the Holy Spirit Himself in all of this? Isn’t He within us and interceding for us?
Happy @theRTMullins weighed in on the supremely hyperbolic and philosophically sloppy analysis being trotted out by RC YT apologists about alleged 'vindicatory miracles.'
Any one who thinks you should immediately convert because of them should listen:

The story about the father who was beaten to death after trying to stop 3 men from groping his daughter at a restaurant is still being censored.
The Swedish parliamentary election is less than two weeks away.
They want this story buried.
We cannot let them.
@pablov950@adorientem Sorry, last part:
So what I am saying is that you are assuming a very basic notion of welfare. WHAT IF welfare is best measured by spiritual communion with God? Then we go right back to the main question:
_- Does God exist, and what do we do to be in communion with Him?
@pablov950@adorientem So if it is welfare, then we need to define WHOSE welfare, at WHOSE expense (since the welfare of some can be at the expense of others), and who defines what welfare actually looks like. We could imagine an action that is for the welfare of 99% of the world at one man's suffering
@Philip_Goff What if I chose to actively identify as an EXTREME racist, but I also do nothing malicious (no physical or verbal violence) that causes minorities to be harmed; it is an identity I chose to express my deep love and commitment to MY RACE alone... is that suddenly NOT disordered?
@pablov950@adorientem If a man commits a perfect crime in which he sexually assaults a woman in such a way that she experiences no mental, social, emotional, or physical harm from the rape, and she is left unaware, then I guess it is good because "muh NO HARM principle".
Trash, bro.
@theRTMullins@clax10_ Ryan, if you have the script of your discussion about classical theism and extrinsic change, would there be a way that I could get that from you? I’m working on a curriculum for my high school students, and I use some of your work and articles to diversify theological lessons!
@DesertCity66@majestyofreason@RandalRauser So it wouldn't matter if you think that LGBTQ+ acts are rightly ordered or if Muslims think that child-adult marriages are rightly-ordered. If Christianity is true, then you would both be wrong. You can be incredulous, but it doesn't matter.
@DesertCity66@majestyofreason@RandalRauser You can disagree, but then it just makes you seem inconsistent with the Christian ethic.But if God is real and Christianity is true, then the Christian ethic is the best moral foundation.
