Finally watched the Hawai’i episode of @LastWeekTonight, and the amount of respect I have for @iamjohnoliver has grown tenfold! Mahalo for educating the general public on Hawai’i history and providing perspective from the local point of view! #Hawaii #respect

It was evident for some time that Hawaiian was struggling financially, and while the merger makes business sense, I can’t help but feel how tough this is gonna be for my Hawaiian brothers and sisters.

Looks like the @AlaskaAir and @HawaiianAir merger is going to close soon. It’s gonna be a bittersweet process for the Hawaiian ohana for sure
