@NoDumbQs It's extra work but it means I'm only getting recommendations based on things I actually want or enjoy, which are 90% based on my subscriptions.
@NoDumbQs I agree with Matt that the YouTube algorithm is designed to be the thing he hates. However, mine is completely usable to this day. If I ever watch a video that I don't want to taint my feed, I immediately remove it from my History.
@MattWhitmanTMBH I think you're probably right that Moses is the GOAT of Jewish history, but I'm surprised you only mentioned Abraham as a potential challenger. I think both David and Elijah are heavily in consideration as well.
@NoDumbQs I don't know how much you cut out of this episode, but you spent less than an hour at a sit down restaurant and my brain literally can not process that.
@MattWhitmanTMBH Each of my sons wandered into the room where I was listening, simultaneously repeating "6-7" and then asking me why the man was talking about 6-7. 😆
It's completely reasonable to enforce borders and immigration law. Literally every country ever has done that.
I know some people don't want any enforcement at all right now. I disagree with them.
I know others are fine with an enforcement-at-any-cost approach. I also disagree with them.
Both mentalities are un-shrewd and threaten the rule of law, civil liberties, and the general well-being of the country.
#Rams should have won that game, but they lost because of their own mistakes.
GG #Seahawks, well played.
Now go destroy the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
@NoDumbQs@MattWhitmanTMBH For example, I think "Ghosts" and "Big Bang Theory" are amusing (but not amazing) shows. Conversely, I absolutely cannot stand "Arrested Development" or either version of "The Office". I actively avoid those because of how much I dislike them.
@NoDumbQs I understand the point @MattWhitmanTMBH is trying to make, but there's also the factor that comedy is VERY subjective. As a general statement I agree that current comedy is more reductive than in the past, but that's still not a universal truth and it will vary per person.
@NoDumbQs Most of your examples are worth considering, but I would personally argue that any example that involved directly killing other people in order to save more lives needs an asterisk or something. Not disqualification, but an acknowledgement.
@MrMockRock You can probably tell from my party of 6 what kind of Pokémon I like. Scizor has been my favorite since I first saw him and so far nothing has unseated him from his throne.
@MrMockRock I do this about once a year. Some of them never change, some of them changes every time. This is my latest version with no repeats. I'm very excited to see what this is leading to!

Re: Western influences
Roman Empire and Christianity are indisputable, although they are heavily intertwined.
However, I might argue that Arabic number system is more influential than Greek thought
Just started #Campaign4. I should not be having this feeling in the very first episode. Especially since it's a player I already have past complaints about. 😬
The first two campaigns of #CriticalRole each had a character who I liked conceptually but often hated how they were played (Vax and Beau).
I just started Episode 9 of Campaign 3 and I'm almost positive that this time around it's gonna be Fearne.
