This one feels special.
I'm proud to have been appointed a Visiting Professor at Ulster University Business School in Northern Ireland, as it celebrates its 50th anniversary year.
To be invited to join at such a milestone moment is an honour. Hospitality is one of the most dynamic, global, and people-centred industries, and I’m passionate about helping the next generation of leaders to thrive. I look forward to working with Ulster’s team and meeting their students, sharing professional insight from across our sector, and contributing to the University’s continued success.
This is also a deeply personal milestone for me. I grew up in challenging times and never had the opportunity to go to university. Imposter syndrome is very real, but so too are the opportunities that open up when education and business come together. For me, it’s a reminder that aspiration can grow into achievement, and possibility can become reality.
My sincere thanks to Ulster University Business School, and to everyone who has supported my journey in hospitality so far. This appointment feels both humbling and exciting in equal measure, and I can’t wait to get started.
