@TheHerd @ColinCowherd 4) He is not in the Brewers heads, yeah they were frustrated after a 5:15 marathon but he isnt an "agitator" or in their heads.
5) Teams are 100% going to pay him. Avg. HR's. RBIs. Defense (recent) and strong arm. He will get paid.

[The Unchosen @UnchosenSports]

@TheHerd @ColinCowherd 1) The hustle aspect isn't a big deal. Sometimes you are frustrated, don't run hard out of the box, big deal.
2) The Machado - Red Sox slide wasn't dirty.
3) It doesn't matter if he didn't hurt anyone yesterday. He was frustrated and tried to injure someone. That WAS dirty. Cont.

@PackerReport @Jason_OTC I'm sure this played huge into their projections for future earnings - https://t.co/SRuVj5eyGY

[Bill Huber @BillHuberNFL]

Writing Rodgers for VIP. Of note ... in 2014, when his previous extension really kicked in, he consumed 13.20 percent of the cap. In 2019, based on @Jason_OTC's projections, Rodgers could command $13.16 percent of the cap.

[Ken - Packers Cap @KenIngalls]

@ZachAJacobson That would be the MAX amount of savings. Likely much less if the base salary or roster bonuses are larger.

[Ken - Packers Cap @KenIngalls]

@ZachAJacobson Preliminary math suggests $7.3M of cap savings for 2018. Assuiming $1M base salary for 2018, $262,500 roster bonus and $500,000 workout bonus from prior 2018 contract earned, and $11.5 pro-rated signing bonus ($57.5M/5years) = $13,262,500 vs $20,562,500 before extension.

[Bob Nightengale @BNightengale]

@Rooster_K @1057FMTheFan @B_Money_22 Plus, I have been 100% AGAINST bringing in a pitcher. This was meant for people who say the Brewers had to bring in pitchers. Here is my podcast rant of why I said they shouldnt...

[The Unchosen @UnchosenSports]

@Rooster_K @1057FMTheFan @B_Money_22 What this was meant to be was August additions can still help, doesnt have to be Harvey. Unless you were willing to give up 1 or 2 top prospects, plus multiple others, you weren't getting top of the rotation arm. Harvey did start game 1 of the World Series, provides experience.
