Another comes here to tell us,
"Africa is our business,"
But when an important African business was happening on African soil, he was in Europe, eating lasagna like Khlestakov, the deceitful character in the play The Government Inspector by Nikolai Gogol.
Liars!
One thing that genuinely frustrates me whenever I stay in a Kenyan hotel is the strange mathematics around check-in and checkout.
You can arrive at 4 p.m., exhausted after battling Nairobi traffic or travelling for hours, pay the full nightly rate, and then be told to leave by 10 a.m. the following morning. That means you have paid for a “day” but received only 18 hours—and sometimes even fewer if your room was not ready on time.
I understand that hotels need time for housekeeping and to prepare rooms for incoming guests. However, that operational convenience should not always come at the guest’s expense.
Hotels should either provide a genuine 24-hour stay from the moment a guest checks in, introduce more flexible checkout arrangements, or price shorter stays accordingly. You cannot charge someone as though they received a full day while quietly taking several hours back.
In Kenya, where a decent hotel room can cost thousands of shillings per night, guests deserve better value, clearer terms and a fairer system.
A good father doesn't just give his child a life. He teaches them how to live it.
He becomes the voice they hear when making difficult decisions, the strength they remember when life gets hard, and the example they carry long after he's gone.
Today, I celebrate the fathers who showed up, sacrificed, protected, guided, and loved.
Happy Father's Day to the men whose greatest legacy is not what they left behind, but who they raised.
I’m not sad that you are saying this nonsense, I’m sad that this is what most people think is how politics should be. We’ve been conditioned to believe a rotation and alliance
of thieves and despots is all we have to choose from. We have been conditioned to never imagine a government for the people by the people. I’m here to remind everyone that it is possible, it’s you who give the thieves a lifeline to continue subjugation. We have the power to stop this madness.
BREAKING: MP Ngogoyo has launched a fierce attack on the Kenya Kwanza government, calling its priorities completely misplaced.
While millions of Kenyans are struggling with high taxes, unemployment, and the rising cost of living, he questioned how Executive spending rose by KSh 6.3 billion in just two weeks through Supplementary Budget II.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: this government has inverted priorities. The things that should come first are treated as an afterthought, while spending at the top keeps growing.
Credit to MP Ngogoyo for saying what many Kenyans have been thinking.
Fellow Kenyans, I need you to help me reset, rebuild and restore Kenya.

Soon after independence, Kenya’s political elites embraced an Extractive System of government in which a small cabal use their positions to loot public resources at the expense of the ordinary citizen.
Today, under William Ruto, that extractive system has become a full-blown criminal enterprise. Across virtually every public sector, the President, his cabinet, top officials in government, and corrupt businessmen have turned government into their own business. #ukombozi
" The government in power is scared that it is losing the 2027 General Election and is now using goons," Muslim leaders condemn the attack on All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi!
DISASTER: When we say Kenya is being led by the worst possible criminals, some people think we are exaggerating.
First, they tried handing JKIA to Adani. Kenyans rejected it.
Now we are being told the project is linked to Wicknell Chivayo, a man whose name has repeatedly appeared in major corruption controversies.
Of all the companies in the world, why him?
And here's the question nobody is answering:
The Adani proposal was reportedly around KSh 1.8 billion. Now the figure being discussed is over KSh 2.5 billion.
How does the cost suddenly jump by hundreds of millions?
Who is pocketing the difference?
When you look at Chivayo's history and then look at the numbers, the questions practically ask themselves.
We deserve answers.
Ruto Must Go.
Legacy politicians have repeatedly demonstrated that the welfare of ordinary citizens is not their foremost priority. How else can one explain a system where, within the first two months of the financial year, State House receives close to 90% of its allocated funding, while school capitation funds essential for learning, teaching materials, and the smooth operation of public schools, continue to face delays?
A nation that consistently prioritizes the machinery of power over the development of its human capital risks undermining its own future.
Can we get a clear explanation as to why salaried Kenyans are compelled to contribute to the Housing Levy to finance the construction of houses on public land, land held in trust for all citizens only to then be required to purchase those same houses from intermediaries who profit from public contributions despite adding no discernible value?
If workers provide the capital through mandatory deductions and the land is already publicly owned, what exactly justifies the additional profit margin imposed on the final buyer?
What legal, economic, or policy rationale supports a system in which citizens are taxed to build housing and then required to buy that housing back at market prices?
The Kenyan “Chief Diplomat” flew to Norway in his kshs 5 million per hour jet, spent another kshs 300 million in accommodation, to find 120 ship cooking and cleaning jobs for Kenyans.
Somehow the slow learners kwa Ikulu believe this some excellent achievement.
