@pmgallup@FenixAmmunition@Anc_Aesthetics If only there was video evidence of a .30-06 using the same type of ammunition having a similar effect being shown at a trial
@Ab0utTreefiddy@FenixAmmunition@Anc_Aesthetics No, but I’d wager to say he wasn’t built like ballistic gel or a boneless ham or whatever else interwebs people were shooting at to “prove” the guy who shot him didn’t shoot him were testing on either 🤷🏻♂️
@Bbq_79BU@sidewaysxr@FenixAmmunition@Anc_Aesthetics It’s not a perfect comparison and now I can’t find the similar .30-06 mule deer post/comment I saw (nor can I verify it’s actually true, since it’s not me)
@HarryBo96890762@FenixAmmunition@Anc_Aesthetics Me too, this was an old mail order rifle that apparently had a delay between trigger pull and primer strike…so don’t judge the shot placement too hard
@AMatteGrey@FenixAmmunition@Anc_Aesthetics Projectiles are “funny” things, I’ve seen people who died from a 5.56 or 7.62 and one that lived through a barrage of 30mm while surrounded by explosives (he was a bad guy, we got him)
@AmericaAlbertoM@FenixAmmunition@Anc_Aesthetics I didn’t weigh the deer or meat, it was a NC deer so not as much as one of them corn fed yankee deer…but I was still eating on it for a while
@sidewaysxr@FenixAmmunition@Anc_Aesthetics There is, but there are an almost infinite number of other variables that can impact outcome too. Does a round that impacts with higher energy open faster or slower than one with less energy?
