Many of the things you are, are actually things you choose to be
.
If you don't know maths, or you are always late, or missing deadlines...etc
Then I'm telling you today that these are not character traits.
They are things you choose to be.
.
.
And I got to realise that "It's easier to accept things about ourselves as truths instead of choices"
For instance, I am one of those people that always claimed I didn't know maths.
But I still didn't ask questions in class.
I didn't go meet my mates that knew maths.
I have never gone to the teacher before to teach me some maths topics
But I'll still claim I'm bad at maths.
Ordinary factorization and mean median mode... I struggled so much with.
.
.
The same thing goes for other aspects.
You might say you can't cook.
But how many times have you tried to go on YouTube tutorials?
How many times have you scheduled some days to go buy things at the market and try something out?
You could also consistently assist your parents or partner during cooking and learn somethings.
.
But you haven't tried all these, and just came to accept a truth about yourself, that it's just the way you are... Rather than seeing it as choices you've made overtime.
.
.
.
So instead of accepting things about yourself, as a truth... You can start seeing them as choices.
Choices that can be overriden and patterns broken.
Start seeing your life this way, and you'd see how much better your overall view on life gets.
This was an hack I knew a long time ago. And still try to apply it in my life till present.

I appreciate you very much for reading 💯
Have a wonderful weekend 🎉

This is reminder that in 2026 be bold, brave, creative, laugh more, enjoy life more, celebrate both your big wins and small wins, and most importantly take care of yourself. Your body is the only house you’ll forever live in, please prioritize your health while enjoying life.
You will be tempted to show that you are doing well, but it is important you resist the urge to perform for an audience that don’t matter - and maybe isn’t even watching
Man, I don't have much to say lately. It's a chaotic world. The poor marry, so do the rich. Some die, some are born. I ate meat, I ate veggies. I lost my job, but I got another. And I love it in nature, man. The ocean, the trees: they do something to me, man.
And when I am running, the wind feels like therapy in my face. I also concluded that I have no type, no mechanical standards with people: everybody is an experience. A book I unravel. There are times I wished the novel would go on forever, but I guess I am no life's author: I am only a reader. I can only exist in the moment. Not focus too much on the ending.
There are women I thought I would marry, man. And I loved holding their hands, kissing their foreheads. But I guess it was never meant to be. And it is sad, but it's life, man. That's the joy of it. To feel with abandon. Then heal just as resolutely.
I used to believe I was entirely good. But I got blocked for the first time this year, so I guess I can't be all that. When I tell my stories, I am an angel and rainbow, but I must have hurt people in my past, and I guess I am a little heartbroken by it. I wanted to be perfect. And I always meant well but intentions never count when we hurt people, do they?
And I want to live with the rules, man. But they are so exhausting. Do this, and do that and they still don't guarantee shit. Because after all of it, I am still going to die. You could do everything right, and still lose. And that's just how it is. That's just how it is.
So I guess my only rule is living for now. I will be more pessimistic when I give up. But I have hope still. I see myself with a nice house somewhere with a lot of trees, man. Someone I will wake up to and call "baby". I mean it's stupid when you think it up, but what's the alternative, man? Wake up to a fucking cactus in a pot in my 40s?! Call a cat "honey"?
And my friends look at me and say,"you are too white, brother". Too romantic for life. But I am not the one chasing emptiness with gin. Night after night with nothing to show for it, except bland tales about the pretty girl at the bar, and the big boys that spend cash like it's water. Knowing everything about everyone except ourselves. Chasing everything but us, man. Living vicariously through others, delegating our existence to another. Like a man who has love at home, but won't stop lamenting doomed love. Parroting hell for relevance until he becomes the statistic he spoke into life.
And why must it always be investment. Can't even spend my money in peace. Everybody is preaching and the gospel is all stacking it up. But I saw a local dude in some torn shorts, with his wife and kids in Lamu, laughing to their last teeth by the beach. I mean it's not much, and it could be better. But it's not nothing. Right? We are not going to be dollar millionaires, and I guess that's fine, man. We don't have to be to live life. Most of us won't. But we can still be loved. We can still eat and drink. And that's what they call living, man. So I don't want to talk about the latest cars and flashiest watches. I will settle for the occasional laughter God sends my way.
Until I have lost the light in me, then I will join you. But for now, I want to live. I want to wake up with some excitement. I want to exercise, man. I want to dream. I can't be mechanical about it. I am not a car. Just another dude, who a million years from now won't mean shit. But I've got to live. I've got to live.
If babies understood embarrassment, most of them would never learn to walk or speak because of the amount of failure required to improve.
This was one of our first lessons in life but somehow, we forgot
Yes, it’s hard. It’s supposed to be. That’s why most people quit. But if you can just win today, just this one damn day, you send a message to the part of you that wants to give up: I’m not folding. You don’t need forever. Just a pattern. One clean day at a time.
The answer to most your problems is probly to lift more weights, work harder, waste less, pray better, learn more, give thanks, dress mature, be honest kind forgiving, focus on the present, avoid worry, notice beauty, embody love, embrace excellence, and spend more time in nature
Wake up at dawn, read a book, work out, go to work, have a dream - an aspiration beyond yourself, be kind, laugh with friends, love your woman, call your parents, drink water, sleep early:
A quiet life.
I honestly do not understand some of the criticisms being raised. If parliamentary provisions allow members to express themselves in their vernacular languages, why should there be an issue with exercising that right?

Every time someone shouts at me unreasonably, I always remember, It's not me, it's them. They probably don't have Top score at home and they are mad about it.
Most decisions don’t guarantee outcomes. They initiate transformations. And sometimes, the decision that looked “wrong” becomes the path to what you needed most and you’ll only know that in hindsight, if ever. Every choice is a bet. If it goes wrong, accept it and move on.
I do not believe that there is one way to live. Some people will succeed by hard work, others by crime, others by luck, others by heritage, others by prostitution. Some will not succeed at all. But in whatever we do, we must not lie to ourselves & be willing to bear consequences
Adulting teaches you the value of friendship. It reminds you of the essence of community, and not just because friends help materially, but because they mold a certain safety in engagement that you couldn't fetch anywhere else. Especially friends you have known for a long time.
Argument is not about winning. The real win in an argument is when someone else finally sees your point even if they don't agree with it. We need to foster more conversation in every space and every niche with the aim being to understands one another better.
@Hamnjela@BankofNamibia Repo rate will stay the same at, 6.75% . This supports macroeconomic stability, manages inflation risks, and aligns with regional trends. For everyday Namibians, the impact is steadiness, neither rate relief nor shock. If you're borrowing, it’s a good time to lock in terms.
My theory on why the world continues as it is—even after someone dies—is because the world, as it is, is not self-aware. It cannot be. It is a containment system. A loop disguised as a planet. A running program with just enough randomness to mimic freedom, just enough color to mimic beauty, just enough silence to make you think it’s listening.
But it’s not. It doesn’t feel. It cannot feel. And that’s the only reason it works. Because if this containment ever did feel—if it ever flinched, if it ever paused to acknowledge that one of its contents had expired—then the whole operation would collapse. One boy dies, and the clouds forget how to move. One girl hangs herself, and gravity loses its will to hold. If the earth mourned the way we do, it would never recover.
So maybe it’s a good thing the earth is unfeeling. Maybe it’s the only thing keeping us alive.
Because imagine the earth pausing to grieve. Imagine the oceans trembling with sorrow. Imagine the trees bending in lamentation, refusing to photosynthesize because a child in Gaza starved to death yesterday. Imagine the sun dimming for a week because a woman in Pakistan was stoned in public while her son watched. Do you understand what that means? It means the seasons would never be consistent. It means the sky would weep for months. It means life, as we know it, would become unbearable.
Because this world is held together by one thing: denial.
The program must keep running. No matter who dies. No matter how many. No matter how loudly we scream. Your grandmother dies, and somewhere in Tokyo, a baby laughs. Your brother gets shot in a robbery gone wrong, and two streets away, a couple is having sex with the windows open. The world is not cruel. Cruelty assumes intent. The world is absent. It is running a sequence. Input. Output. Decay. Repeat.
That’s why you go to work the morning after burying your father. That’s why your phone rings during your panic attack. That’s why birds sing in genocide zones. Because nothing in this containment system is built to feel your grief.
You are the only aware thing in a loop that isn’t. You are the rupture. The glitch. The question mark in a sentence that has been looping since the first bacteria split itself in two. And the great cosmic joke is that you keep waiting for the world to say, “I’m sorry.”
You stand at gravesites. You light candles. You kneel in churches. You write poems. You scream into pillows. And still, the loop spins. You want it to notice. You want thunder to clap when your mother dies. You want the sky to bleed. You want time to stop. You want something, anything, to acknowledge that something irreparable just happened.
But it doesn’t. And that’s not evil. That’s design. God’s perfect design. The loop must preserve itself. It must protect the system. The same way a wound scabs over to protect the body. Your death is a data point. Your grief is excess heat. Your healing is an anomaly.
The loop can’t afford to care. Because if it does, it breaks. And if it breaks, we all go with it. Maybe that’s the real horror. Not that the world is heartless: But that it’s heartless on purpose; that it has to be.
And maybe, just maybe, that’s the only reason we’re still here.
