@ChibiReviews I like it but the pacing is a bit fast.

The following is a megathread that compiles all my Malfoid writing along with additional commentary that ties everything together as well as just showing where my head was at.

Short of rewriting the series, I'd consider this the "general idea" of how my approach to it would feel.

In reality, I actually wouldn't rewrite a ton outside of the Draceana and Harry relationship events. That changes A LOT, don't get me wrong, but as far as trying to override Rowling's original intent with the other plot beats and characters, I would keep a lot of that as is. She wrote a world wide phenomenon for a reason, and I don't think I'm THAT good to try and one up her in that regard.

So, if I did rewrite the series, you'd just be seeing most of the events happening just as they did in the book, just with my prose and habit of characters being very introspective. I would probably also switch POVs a few times, as I did with Draceana here. Hopefully, my explanations of all the following will give you the full idea of how something like that would feel, but most of all, I hope you enjoy this comprehensive list.

NOTE: This does not mean that I'm done writing Malfoid stories, this just gives everyone a place to find it. Anything I write after this initial post will be added and I'll probably just list where it slots in.

Also, by no means do intend for my writing to be the "definitive" version of this concept. This is just how I would do it and how I would follow my own logic. You are free to take from it, block it out, and criticize it as you please. There are many talented people out there that are putting in the work for their own version of this concept, and they are doing brilliant work.

Before we begin, however, I want to shout out the following artists:

@hayes_gens
@ashaoguant60501
@theexileddraco
@MaroonR19
@Strittposter
@Tarmhell
@ZetaVisualWorks
@Yailluu017

Special mention to @spaz141, who did a wonderful rendition of one my pieces that truly got me right in the feels, @spookyh8r for providing inspiration for the Yule Ball with his own version of it as well as @DrowzyShroomy , who has used some of my writing for their own interpretation, and @Alessandro49472, who has been making some absolute banger musical pieces for us all to listen to.

Especially big shoutout to @redteneri , without you starting this trend, none of this would have been possible. Thank you, truly.

And of course, a thank you to J.K. Rowling, who's works serve as the foundation for all of this. It's been a blast and a humbling experience revisiting all your works and seeing your imagination bleeding through the pages.

They inspired more than half these pieces. Without them, I probably wouldn't have written anything at all, and all this would not have been possible. Thank you all, truly.

Alright, lets get cracking.

I think it would always end badly because of how it was structured:

"VTubing is like bringing anime to real life." But then came the double-edged sword of that idea: real life infecting anime. The very premise of VTubing contained the seeds of its own degradation.

The girl behind the model couldn't stay in character forever or keep restraining herself to adhere to that idea, that fantasy.

Even more so when you have "fans" blindly shouting, "Just be yourself! Freedom is always good, no matter what!", treating unrestricted self-expression as an unconditional good.
which only accelerated the process of the fantasy degrading and the mask slipping.

Too many real-life problems ends up plaguing the fantasy, and this is true for more than just VTubing, too.

I'm forever vindicated on my stance: most Vtubers actually hate their audience and think lesser of them for giving their money to them. That by itself isn't a dealbreaker, and the actual testament of a Vtubers talent is how well they hide it.

@Rinka_Shotokeki Not going to mince words, this is a problem almost all women have where they can't correlate their actions with the consequences of said actions and then when everyone calls them out they cry victim. It's tiresome, it's childish and everyone is just entirely done with it.
