@Faf48174996 @DrAditya2935 Having limited number of seats amounts to gatekeeping. Around 15 years ago, getting into MBBS was rarity. Now it is easier. This is a good thing that has happened. I don't support indiscriminate increase in seats without any rationale. But more seats and GMCs were necessary.

@shreyameetsyou Will studying in a government college make someone a good doctor? That's a question which will be answered after 10-15 years. During MBBS or pre-MBBS, all that matters is getting into a govt. college. So until someone becomes successful in their practice college matters.
