@DrumsBrown@7cecee I mean, I once literally dragged myself from the second story of my parents house to car at the curb because I had a knee injury that I couldn’t put weight on. This was heading in to a 19 hour shift. But please, keep telling me how pathetic I am.
@7cecee By the time they gave me the time I’d been hallucinating since July, narcoleptic, and actually incontinent. My apnea was so bad my body wasn’t getting enough rest to heal from even wear and tear. 8 months in and I still can’t always walk. It was baddddd.
@7cecee June of 2025 I tried to take a couple days off because it turned out I had severe sleep apnea and my body was actively shutting down. As in, I almost died. It took until late October before I was allowed to take two consecutive days off to schedule a sleep study.
@st_louisville@seymo45794@rushicrypto Common misconception, Stanley Lubrick was actually hired to fake the moon landing to satiate public suspicion that the moon exists. As you stated, he was a perfectionist though, and did insist on shooting on location…
That’s right. Stanley Kubrick created the moon.
@HEYimHeroic However, you only really see the difference if the content is shot properly, processed properly, displayed on a screen capable of displaying HDR footage…. And the settings are properly set.
@HEYimHeroic Hi! I’m a cinematographer, let me try to explain. HDR stands for “High Dynamic Range”, meaning more tones can be captured between the brightest brights and darkest darks. When the pipeline is properly followed, you get richer colors, deeper blacks, and more detailed highlights.
@ronsterd89 While I FUKKIN LOVE WATER 💧👄💧, I’m also trying to cut back on energy drinks, so I’ve been drinking a lot of water flavoring packets. The artificial sweeteners took a bit to get used to, and I miss the fizz, but the caffeinated ones have helped keep me awake and hydrated!
@ImBreckWorsham While you and I may not be friends, I have massive respect for anyone who can acknowledge when they’re wrong. Thank you for being so public with it.
@prinkasusa Out of curiosity, I usually give mine, written down, while giving my reason for giving it and saying I understand if they don’t use it.
The idea is to keep the power of the situation in the woman’s hands, while also feeling safe from any reprisal on my end,Yay or nay? Textlimit
@AubreyWitch@No8756729233512@fennomanne@kalaelizabeth Because it’s not a tool. You commission a product from something willing to steal from actual artists, destroy the planet, and not even have the decency to do it well.
You aren’t creating. You’re asking a computer to do the creative part for you.
@AubreyWitch@fennomanne@kalaelizabeth Aa an indie filmmaker, this is a terrible analogy. The bar has literally never been lower in terms of access to tools, tech, and training.
What you’re avoiding is the time it takes to learn the craft. You’re asking for a lazy way out, and lazy has no place in art.
