15 wickets in the day, most we've had all series. What a comeback from India after a bad first session, to bowl Eng out on 247 from 129/1 was a lion hearted effort from Siraj and Prasidh. Really like the intent Jaiswal came out with. Game set up nicely. #ENGvIND
It's shocking and unfortunate that sports is still a punishment posting for ministers. Maharashtra is home to some of the top athletes, finished second only to Services at National Games and contributes massively to contingent at major Games.

I witnessed a young Indian student being deported from Newark Airport last night— handcuffed, crying, treated like a criminal. He came chasing dreams, not causing harm. As an NRI, I felt helpless and heartbroken. This is a human tragedy. @IndianEmbassyUS#immigrationraids
Hundreds of Indian students in the US face sudden visa cancellations—many for petty or unproven reasons like minor traffic violations or social media posts. Their academic futures hang in the balance. Urgent diplomatic intervention is needed.
Important: Irony just died: Pakistan is appointed vice chair of United Nations Security Council Counter Terrorism Committee.. and chair of Taliban Sanctions Committee. What does this say about UN commitment to root out terror or frankly about our foreign policy clout in global fora ? Must bring Pakistan back on FATF grey list as part of diplomatic overdrive. Else it’s a case of lots of talk, little action 😡
#BREAKING: One Pakistan High Commission New Delhi based ISI operative under diplomatic cover namely Ehsan Ur Rahim @ Danish has been declared Persona-Non Grata by Govt. of India for his involvement in espionage activities. Punjab Police had cracked the case on Sunday after arresting a person for leaking sensitive information on Indian Army.

The CNN story leaves me with more questions than answers. What was the 'alarming intel'? Was it Pakistan's nuclear sabre-rattling? The report says there was 'high probability for dramatic escalation'. If I put the CNN and NYT stories together, India inflicted heavy damages on Pakistan's bases and defence systems. India's strike at the Nur Khan base in Rawalpindi clearly rattled the Pakistani generals. And they retaliated by launching strikes against India. See India carried out high-impact strikes-- in Bahawalpur, Muridke, Chaklala, etc (all in Punjab). And Pakistan decided to escalate by launching drone strikes, prompting Indian responses. But it was after the Nur Khan attack that they launched a major attack on India. This is where the Americans started getting involved. (I am told the Saudis were also in touch with both sides). CNN says Vance called Modi in the afternoon of May 9. There were also local reports in Pakistani media that Shehbaz Sharif had called meeting of the National Command Authority, the small group that makes decisions about nuclear weapons. My question is if Pakistan actually threated to use nuclear weapons, what the the Americans immediately did was to dial up the Indian PM and ask for a ceasefire? Is this how you deal with countries that threaten to use nuclear bombs? (Certainly this was not the world's response at least when Putin said he had all options on the table to defend Russia.) The CNN report also says Vance outlined to Modi a potential off-ramp. What was the off-ramp? We don't know.

And here we go again....as if we already didn't know our notorious 'brother' well enough!
Experts say we did hit Pakistan hard. The impact is real in Pakistan, so why we accepted the ceasefire early, is what people want to tap into.

Over the past 48 hours, @VP Vance and I have engaged with senior Indian and Pakistani officials, including Prime Ministers Narendra Modi and Shehbaz Sharif, External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir, and National Security Advisors Ajit Doval and Asim Malik.
I am pleased to announce the Governments of India and Pakistan have agreed to an immediate ceasefire and to start talks on a broad set of issues at a neutral site.
We commend Prime Ministers Modi and Sharif on their wisdom, prudence, and statesmanship in choosing the path of peace.
History of IMF has not been politically neutral even though it position itself as a 'neutral' entity only focused on global economic growth and economic stability.

#IMF has approved $1-billion loan to #Pakistan as part of its $7-billion Extended Fund Facility Program and 1.3$-billion tranche under the Resilience and Sustainability Facility.
In terms of voting power divisions at IMF, #USA is the one who has the remote control there.
