๐ฌ๐ง UNITE BRITAIN โ ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
CHIEF CONSTABLE SIMON BLATCHLY โ COME FORWARD. ANSWER THE QUESTIONS.
There comes a point where accountability can no longer be avoided.
Unite Britain is demanding answers from Derbyshire Constabulary Chief Constable Simon Blatchly following a series of deeply concerning allegations made by our Founder & Leader, Muhammad Subhan Tahir, concerning the handling of serious incidents reported to Derbyshire Police.
On 1 July 2026, following an alleged assault in Derby, our Founder & Leader attended Pear Tree Police Station.
He says:
๐ด He reported being seriously assaulted and ambushed.
๐ด PC Hawley took his report and saw evidence.
๐ด A witness was reportedly present who had captured footage of the incident using Meta smart glasses.
๐ด That evidence was reportedly shown to police.
๐ด Police subsequently escorted him to Royal Derby Hospital.
๐ด Further evidence was reportedly supplied to police, including material relating to alleged racist and Islamophobic abuse.
๐ด Other allegations include theft of his British passport and iPad and repeated harassment.
Then, approximately two weeks later, he says he received correspondence from PC Libby Rawlins stating that the case was being closed because there was allegedly insufficient evidence.
โ SO WHERE DID THE EVIDENCE GO?
If witnesses existedโฆ
If footage existedโฆ
If evidence was handed directly to policeโฆ
If officers attended and dealt with the incidentโฆ
WHY WAS THE CASE CLOSED?
Derbyshire Police itself operates a Victimsโ Right to Review scheme in qualifying cases, and its published guidance also explains how victims can provide new evidence or information relating to an existing report.
We therefore demand a proper explanation of what happened.
AND THIS HAS HAD CONSEQUENCES.
Our Founder & Leader has spoken about the profound impact these experiences have had on him.
Most seriously, there was a recent mental-health crisis in which he attempted to jump from a bridge and was subsequently detained for mental-health assessment.
If the reported detention was under Section 136 of the Mental Health Act, that is a power allowing police to take someone from a public place to a place of safety when the statutory conditions are met so they can receive appropriate assessment and care.
We will not claim that any individual officer caused that crisis.
But we absolutely will ask whether repeated experiences of alleged assault, racism, Islamophobia, harassment and perceived institutional failure were properly handled โ and whether vulnerable people were adequately protected.
โ๏ธ CHIEF CONSTABLE BLATCHLY โ YOUR FORCE. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
Unite Britain demands:
1. A transparent review of the handling of the reported assault.
2. Confirmation of what happened to the alleged video evidence.
3. Confirmation of whether relevant witnesses were interviewed.
4. An explanation of why the investigation was closed.
5. A review of the allegations of racist and Islamophobic abuse.
6. A review of the reported thefts and harassment.
7. A review of the treatment and safeguarding of our Founder & Leader following his mental-health crisis.
8. Independent scrutiny where appropriate.
9. A full response to the complaints already submitted.
10. Accountability at the highest level if serious failures are established.
And if the Chief Constable can no longer command the confidence of the community:
RESIGN.
That is not a threat.
That is a political demand for accountability.
Derbyshire Constabularyโs own published information demonstrates that failures in policing can result in serious disciplinary consequences; its 2026 records include officers/staff dismissed following misconduct findings, while its 2023 records include a case where an officer was dismissed after findings concerning failure to investigate a reported crime.
So the question is simple:
Why should ordinary members of the public expect less accountability when they report crimes?

From New York to Washington and Michigan, a new generation of public leadership is showing what happens when politics focuses on working people, affordability, dignity, public services and communities.
Zohran Mamdani โ now Mayor of New York City โ has already pushed forward major initiatives around affordable housing, tenant protections, public transport, childcare, small businesses and making New York more affordable. His administration has also set an ambition to create 200,000 affordable homes over the next decade.
And the wider movement matters too:

๐บ๐ธ Rashida Tlaib โ @RashidaTlaib continuing her advocacy around working-class communities, civil rights and human rights.
๐บ๐ธ Ilhan Omar โ @Ilhan continuing to bring issues of immigrant communities, economic justice and human rights into the national conversation.

But there is a common thread:
**People before politics.
Service before ego.
Hope before fear.
Community before division.**
From the Big Apple ๐๐บ๐ธ to Britain ๐ฌ๐ง, we are watching.
And whatever happens next, one thing is clear:
The conversation about what government should deliver for ordinary people is changing.

Imagine a world where the British Pound (ยฃ) is once again the currency everyone measures against. ๐ฌ๐ง๐ท๐
Tongue in cheek? Maybe. Impossible? History says otherwise.
There was a time when Britain was the worldโs leading economic and financial power, with the pound serving as the dominant global reserve currency. Today, the US dollar holds that positionโbut history shows leadership can change.
If we make the right decisions nowโinvesting in innovation, AI, advanced manufacturing, skills, infrastructure and British enterpriseโthereโs no reason Britain canโt lead the next chapter.
With Trumpโs approval ratings sitting around 35โ38% and political uncertainty growing across the Atlantic, perhaps itโs time Britain stopped watching from the sidelines and started leading again. ๐๐บ๐ธ โก๏ธ ๐๐ฌ๐ง
2026 is going down in the history books regardless.
The only question isโฆ
Will Britain write the next chapter, or simply read someone elseโs? ๐ฌ๐ง๐

๐ WE ALSO WANT A NEW STANDARD OF LEADERSHIP
Unite Britain believes policing needs compassionate, accountable and community-focused leadership.
We would welcome serious consideration being given to qualified female leadership at the highest level of Derbyshire policing โ not because women are automatically better leaders, but because communities deserve leadership that listens, responds and takes accountability seriously.
๐ท More humanity. Less bureaucracy.
๐ท More listening. Less dismissal.
๐ท More accountability. Less institutional defensiveness.
This is bigger than one individual.
It is about whether ordinary people can trust their police force when they are assaulted, harassed, threatened or subjected to hate.
UNITE BRITAIN WILL NOT BE SILENCED.
Legal action is being pursued.
Evidence is being retained.
Complaints are progressing.
And we will continue to demand answers through the proper legal and democratic channels.
Chief Constable Simon Blatchly โ the question is now yours.

Jokes aside, Unite Britain is still demanding straightforward answers from Mayor Bev Craig and Greater Manchester Police regarding what happened on 24/07/2026 outside Heron House, Number 10 North.
If a serious incident occurred, the public deserves clarity:
โ What happened?
โ When did it happen?
โ What was reported?
โ What action was taken?
โ And who is actually accountable?
Satire is fair game. Accountability is not. โ๏ธ
