💥 Thousands of tenants. 60+ unions and grassroots campaigns. One message.
✊ Let's make housing affordable again.
This week in @BhamCityCouncil chamber, Councillors made it clear that the city has had enough of the #BrumBinStrike.
It’s time for @BrumLabour to get back in the room and end this chaos for their constituents.
At a time when divisions can be used to weaken collective voices, Unite calls for solidarity across industries & communities. It's up to us to push back against attempts to divide workers and instead build a movement rooted in unity, strength, and collective action. #UnionPower #UnityOverDivision @UniteSharon@unitetheunion@UKTogetherAll
Farage's Reform has pledged to rip up legal protections for workers and renters - handing power to bad bosses and rogue landlords.
The planned attacks include:
• Taking sick pay, bereavement leave, and pregnancy protections off millions of workers.
• Legalising fire-and-rehire and workplace discrimination.
• Reintroducing "no-fault" evictions and reducing limits on rent increases.

📊 Unite has just added our Financial Insider tool to the Work Voice Pay app, meaning you can find out how much profit your employer is making, how much bosses and shareholders are making and how much a decent pay rise
would cost in just a few taps. Because sometimes employers can be adept at hiding the money.

These hospitality workers are standing up for fairness and dignity at work in one of the precarious industries - but four months on Village hotels is refusing to listen.
Village Hotel workers across pub, grill and the franchised Starbucks, have been on all-out strike since 28 November 2025, fighting for the real living wage for all, union recognition, and safe transport home in unsociable hours.
While they’ve been pushed to the picket line, the company, which is worth hundreds of millions has refused to even join discussion for these reasonable ask.
This weekend workers and supporters rallied outside the hotel with a clear message: It’s time Village Hotels listened to the workforce who keep their business running and come to the negotiating table to end the strike.
If you agree, write a letter to the execs 👇

For the first time in their history, these skilled workers are striking - standing up to decades of real-terms pay cuts that have eroded wages to the brink of minimum wage.

🤣It seems EVERYONE thinks @BhamCityCouncil should negotiate a fair end to the bins strike!
If the council won't listen to residents. Or the Prime Minister, maybe they'll listen to you?
