Remember when politicians were clapping for key workers? They seem to have forgotten how important NHS workers are. So let's remind them. #NHS staff were due a rise in April. Where is it? Pls share & tell Rishi Sunak to pay up!
Unite Reps Hosting a Stall
Today’s stall in the Manchester canteen, celebrating the hard work that unions do and the fact that unionised workers are better paid workers and are building awareness on workplace stress.

“Let me say to the @GOVUK today. You are the real threat to national security. You have crippled our industries, stopped us owning our own energy, handed our water supply to rampant profiteers.” @UniteSharon 1/2

Make no mistake, this legalisation puts this @GOVUK at war with workers. But they will not break our working class resolve. We will fight them with all we have and they will lose!

Today, honour those lost to genocide across history. Acknowledge all victims, those from different races, and our disabled and LGBT+ communities. May we strive for a world with dignity, respect, and equality for all. And we say never again.

“The union movement is ready to fight.
“This government has declared a war on workers. But we will never allow them to force workers to cross a picket line, to break their own strikes, to defeat their own resolve.
“Unite will resist.” @UniteSharon

Unionised jobs are better jobs.
You get better pay, and you are more likely to be treated with dignity and respect by your employer.
We must not allow this @GOVUK to force workers across their own picket lines. We must be prepared, we must act together with real solidarity to push this back. #ProtectTheRightToStrike See you tomorrow!

Forty years ago at GCHQ, Margaret Thatcher’s Conservative government attacked trade union rights. Union members were told to resign their membership or be sacked
After a long campaign by the workers and their unions, they won and were reinstated – but attacks on unions continue.
This Saturday unions will march through Cheltenham to commemorate the GCHQ victory and to demonstrate continued defiance against minimum service level regulations and attacks on the right to strike.
We will once again show a Conservative government that the full force of the union movement stands behind any worker sacked for trade union activity.
