@united wow United is really out there forcing you to get a voucher for flights you couldn’t use because of the pandemic instead of a refund on your credit card. And when you book a flight lessen than the price of the original price it’s too bad and they keep the difference

remember this thread? well, @united has fucked me over once again. i was originally able to apply for a refund after 12 months after my flight credit expired, but to "give me more flexibility" they extended the validity of my credit for an extra year :))))))

That is right. The staff @united lied to me. If they truly record the calls, then they can hear their employee speak and say that I was getting refund to the original method of payment. So fed up repeating myself. Very incompetent staff indeed. No one should fly with them.

My wife just had to cancel her trip on @United because my conference in San Diego in September has been canceled. I paid for my trip in points which were refunded, but she gets only a travel credit which we almost certainly will never use. A full refund in cash is appropriate.
