@shanedk I have to agree. I'm a Blender hobbyist at best; the idea of using AI to work with nodes is a dream. I don't have time to dedicate to Sverchok and the rest of the nodes system, though I love the idea of their complexity.
@burkov I understand you get engagement, and algorithmically you gain something, but from those who might be thinking, you lose credibility, you lose future readers. Aren't you then effectively contributing to slop?
@SamuelAlbanie Putting this out with such an exorbitant price hints that I should take myself off AI Studio and move to another platform, as Google aims for the big money maker instead of being in the service of humanity and knowledge.
@MeruGokhale@OfficialLoganK@GeminiApp While I'm using Google AI Studio every day, I'm reluctant during the intense churn between LLMs to invest in any one of them after canceling subscriptions to two others already. Why not make this available to capture mind share instead of focusing on the $ grab?
@RnaudBertrand I wanted to read this, but the paywall prevents it. As I've never heard of you and I'm not familiar with your perspective, this feels like a big ask. Too bad that you are claiming this to have global signficance, but are not allowing people to learn from you.
@trentjhughes Stopped watching television 41 years ago, do not subscribe to any media, no Spotify, Netflix, Hulu - none of it. Never seen Seinfeld, Sopranos, Game of Thrones, or Dancing with the Stars. That's my flex.
@Ainthropos I didn't win the lottery, but I have figured out how to quit my job and live as something akin to being hermit-like while in a city. DM me if you are interested in life tips :) No Hegel required!
@Ainthropos@kimmonismus I'm stuck in the conundrum of appreciating this text as a construct of the alleged author while trying to reconcile that I could be fooling myself and this is from the machine, or a machine/human hybrid. Regardless, I love what it says.
@skdh While what you share may best represent your experience, I unsubscribed to your YT/X feeds a couple of months ago, as you seem to have discovered a niche where Debby Downer finds more clicks. The idea that I might need to block references from you as I do with DT/EM is sad.
@ai_for_success This nulls the value of GPT-5 as do I as a user have to accept that I'm getting intellectually handicapped data? What is the incentive to know how much more accurate a pricey model is, if I suspect that the free model is actively being hampered? Maybe the Pro is hobbled too?
@VictorySlinger@BrianRoemmele Why do many using this type of example leave out the individual's responsibility to maintain their presence of mind, avoid infantilism, and define their own path instead of taking the well-worn road of conformity?
