We all have to come to terms with the fact that the closest we will ever get was an April night in 2015. It’s never going to happen in the two major sports and the quicker we all come to terms the better.
Now enjoy your corporate slop 12-team playoff and settle down, everyone.
Wisconsin is expected to host Toledo QB transfer Dequan Finn for a visit in the near future, sources tell @247sports.
Finn, the MAC Player of the Year, accounted for 88 career touchdowns at Toledo.

2015 will forever be a once in a lifetime season for the #Badgers. They’ll never get as lucky and/or recruit like that again. The program can do well, but they’ll never be on top. We must all accept this reality.
@joemosch The law school is also much more driven by left-leaning academics, all of whom hate the higher ed competition game. Law rankings are more BS tho. Library size & oddball stuff. I also wonder if Dean saw writing on wall, school would be unlikely to go up as the undergrad just did.
Pleased to share that @UWMadison ranks #35 this year in @usnews, our highest overall ranking in 15 years! Though rankings always need to be taken with a (large) grain of salt, it’s good to see our excellence recognized. #OnWisconsin https://t.co/auSjJBuazP
A number of university presidents have worked to pump their school rankings. Florida did it. Northeastern. USC for sure years ago. My guess is @uwchancellor sees some PR value and I commend her for it.
Great news for UW. They were around 35 back in 2004. Peers were schools like NYU, whom they’re tied with again now in 2023.
These rankings have serious flaws. And a deleterious impact on affordability. But they do matter to a sizable number of prospective students and families.
#UWMadison has risen to #35 in @usnews’ list of best colleges — our highest overall ranking in the past 15 years. #OnWisconsin!
