Today we launch Unleash Utah, a coalition aiming to make Utah the nation’s leader in energy abundance, innovation, and environmental stewardship—fueling the industries of the future while protecting what makes this state special.

Rep. Blake Moore's Critical Mineral and Extraction Tax Parity Act expands the 45X tax credit to critical minerals like copper, lithium, and uranium.
The legislation helps U.S. producers compete with adversaries, and Utah has the mineral diversity to capitalize on it.
Utah advanced the Great Salt Lake 2034 Charter with $200M in private commitments. The focus: deliver water, restore habitat, secure the lake’s future.
Conservation and prosperity can move together, and the Great Salt Lake effort shows what that looks like in practice.
Utah unveiled a critical-minerals push: meet 25% of U.S. demand, cut permitting times in half, approve 5 new projects in 18 months, and process 50% in-state.

From Utah’s perspective, this is simple: you don’t beat China by relying on China. You build energy and supply chains at home and with allies we trust.
Great power competition with China is our generation’s greatest challenge. We cannot win while dependent on them, financing their tech and defense industries. With the DOMINANCE Act, we have a potential step towards not just decoupling our supply chains from Beijing, but actively building our own here at home and w/ our allies.
At IMARC in Sydney, Utah companies are building on the U.S.–Australia Critical Minerals Framework announced yesterday by @POTUS and @AlboMP.
Utah is home to 40 of 50 U.S. critical minerals. We’re ready to partner with Australia on mining and processing to advance this national security imperative across aerospace, defense, technology, energy, and beyond.
We’re thrilled to welcome @officiallyaaj to our growing coalition!
Alex is a true public servant building a stronger Utah. We’re glad to have him with us. 🇺🇸
Utah is driving the nuclear revival. Brigham City’s new effort to manufacture advanced reactor parts and train a skilled workforce to support new nuclear energy deployment shows how communities can shape the future of American energy.
This is a smart move for our state and another step toward achieving American Energy Dominance.

It was wonderful to be a part of this summit. We are grateful to Senator Curtis for his continued leadership in empowering conservatives to engage in the climate and energy dialogue with pro-Utah, pro-growth solutions.
I have yet to meet a Utahn who doesn’t want to leave the earth better for their kids, and their grandkids. Four years ago, we set out to prove that conservative principles and climate leadership aren’t opposites—they're essential partners.
Even at 101 years old, President Russell M. Nelson led The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with vigor through a period of remarkable change and expansion, announcing more than 200 new temples worldwide. His call for all people to be peacemakers, and his reminder that “Anger never persuades, hostility never heals, and contention never leads to lasting solutions,” will remain a guiding light in our public discourse for years to come.
When we launched Unleash Utah this summer, we never imagined that our first two public statements would be written in response to tragedy. Our prayers and deepest sympathies are with the victims, their families, and with members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints everywhere.
We once forgot how to build in this country — but that is changing. Idaho and Utah are proving that we can lead again with safe, reliable nuclear energy. Together, we will strengthen energy security, protect our environment, and bolster national security.
Congratulations to Oklo on breaking ground on a reactor that will deliver clean, affordable power, build a domestic supply chain for critical radioisotopes, and advance fuel recycling to turn nuclear waste into new energy.
I’m proud to stand with our neighbors in Idaho as we build the future together. ⚡️
We at Unleash Utah were horrified and heartbroken to learn of the tragic events that occurred at Utah Valley University on September 10th.
Violence against those who bring their voice and perspective to our communities is an assault not only on an individual, but on the principles of open dialogue and free thought. We are in disbelief that such a thing could happen in Utah.
We extend our prayers and deepest condolences to Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika, their two young children, and their loved ones during this unimaginably painful time. Our hearts also go out to the many young people who looked up to and loved Charlie. Many members of our coalition are young conservatives whose lives and careers were shaped by Charlie’s life’s work.
We are grateful to law enforcement and first responders for their swift action and dedication to keeping Utahns safe. We applaud the efforts of state and federal officials who worked tirelessly to apprehend the suspect.
We recognize that some of you were at the event or were close to people who were; our prayers are with you.
Unleash Utah will honor Charlie Kirk’s legacy by continuing to support the freedom of thought and expression that makes Utah and America exceptional.
Just wrapped up a great morning on Utah Lake.
Incredible to see the work being done by @UtahDWR & @UtahLake authority to remove invasive carp & restore this vital ecosystem.
Proud of the partnerships making a real difference for our lake & community.
Deep underneath the ground in central Utah, you'll find the hardworking men that keep the lights on for the rest of us. It won't be possible to build an energy abundant future without these guys.
