We have made the decision to not bring back the Creative Royale Playlist to Fortnite. Ultimately, we need to focus those development resources on maintaining the UEFN and Fortnite Creative roadmap.
It’s been amazing to see everything that you’ve built using these tools. We’d like to thank you for making and sharing such awesome Creative Royale content over the past year.
Reminder: Tricking players by asking them to like or favorite an island for a fake reward isn’t cool and is a violation of our rules. These are scams and we won’t allow it.
Creators should remove these elements ASAP to avoid an overall bad time.
Our moderation team will be escalating penalties - including impacts to monetization, removal of islands, and account suspension.
@LeoxyFN Your island is reinstated and live now.
Creative freedom is essential to game dev, and we believe this is a game genre that other creators should be able to build on, just like battle royale.
Exciting updates from MetaHuman 🗣️
Now available in UEFN, MetaHuman gives creators the tools to bring high-fidelity human characters to their Fortnite islands, a new Marvelous Designer integration coming with UE 5.4 and more: https://t.co/zxfJxcxaZp
We are aware of an issue where new installations of UEFN will not open and will close immediately. We are investigating and will let you know when we have more information.
Take your builds to the next level.
Create your own LEGO® Island masterpiece with LEGO Elements and templates—now available in Fortnite Creative and UEFN.
We’ve continued to invest in new creator tools and have received great feedback from the creator community that has helped us iterate and improve upon the UEFN roadmap. Here’s a peek at what’s coming in 2024:
We’ve always used our own first-party games to push Unreal Engine development forward and ensure it’s battle-tested for creators. It’s time for Fortnite development to move to UEFN and Verse. In 2025, we will ship our first season of Battle Royale developed entirely in UEFN.
