@Michael94128643@BBCSSO @Federico_Colli Despicable, vile comment. How do you possibly know what he thinks? Boycott all Israelis, what next, all Jews? Seriously?
Ok, this is beyond a joke now!! 😡 @NationalHways, PLEASE tell me why your contractors are out mowing down approx. 20 MILES (no joke!) of #wildflowers in the form of Oxeye Daisies, Sainfoin, Red Clover and MANY more, on the side of a straight section of the A1M??
Let’s say this was 5m wide (much wider in places), that’s approx. 160,000sqm (16 hectares or 39.5 acres!) of #wildflowermeadow you’ve single-handedly wiped out overnight!
No sight restrictions, no safety concerns.
Please have the decency to respond. So much for a #NoMowSummer.

@nfmusic@operalastnight ENO had to shorten its season when the Arts Council cut its grant by a third around 2016 or whenever it was, as you will well know
@Stephen74977713@philharmonia One of the many joys of #ENOrhinegold opening night @E_N_O was seeing the huge smiles on the faces of the harpists in the stage-right box after the Entry to Valhalla
Following a vibrant Rhinegold at @E_N_O, conductor Martyn Brabbins makes an impassioned plea:
“If we follow the implications of what the Arts Council have asked us to do, what you heard and saw tonight will be in massive jeopardy. . . .
“Do everything you can to support us.”
Culture is the ground on upon which nations identities and histories are build. Arts are communication. Supporting culture is not charity but investment into UK economy as well as continuity of a nations heritage and future.
@acorbettn@E_N_O@LondonColiseum@ClaireMN_Music@ace_national They'll have to bring back row B of the balcony for day seats, remember those days? That's how I saw Lady Macbeth on M as a teenager in early naughties, yes in the ENO summer season, Mark Wigglesworth if I recall correctly
