Thread: Before we dive in, let’s address a critical issue: There are some people around the world who perceive Jerusalem as an Arab area, including the ICJ, with some even advocating for it to be handed over to the Palestinians as the capital of their prospective terror state. This view overlooks the profound and unbroken Jewish connection to Jerusalem. Let’s review how Jerusalem is intrinsically Jewish and how its history has been hijacked and rewritten.
Regarding California's AB 1955 signed into law this week, @AbigailShrier argues (in an article linked below) that it:
1. Mimics the tactics of child predators by isolating children from their parents.
2. Undermines parental rights and the parent-child relationship.
3. Potentially puts children at risk by encouraging secret gender transitions without parental knowledge or support.
4. Ignores growing evidence and international trends cautioning against pediatric gender transitions.
5. Disregards public opinion, which largely supports parental notification in such cases.
6. May lead to political backlash against Democrats, as exemplified by the author's interview subject who switched party affiliation.

HORRIFIC. Dr. Christopher Sheerer, an anesthesiologist at Boston Children’s Hospital, was arrested for possession of child p**n.
Authorities reportedly found material on his phone of “children ranging in age from infants to pubescent teenagers" that showed "the s*xual ab*se of children by adults."
The narrative that Israel is deliberately targeting children for bombing and starvation is a dangerous lie and libel. Shame on Peter Beinart for repeating it.
The IDF soldiers fighting in the war are not monsters. These are young men and women who were leading normal lives until their worlds were upended on October 7th, when Hamas murdered, maimed, mutilated, raped, tortured, burned, butchered, and abducted their family, friends, and fellow Israelis in an act of terror that you sanitize as “resistance.”
Villainizing a people who simply seek security from mass murder is its own form of profanity.
If there were a hateful protest against a Black Church or a Latino Church, we would not attempt to “explain” it. We would condemn it.
If there were a hateful protest against a mosque, we would not attempt to “explain" it. We would condemn it.
Why do we, as a society, feel the need to “explain” a hateful protest against a synagogue in Los Angeles?
The attempt to justify unjustifiable attacks against Jews is its own form of antisemitism.
Part of the reason the anti-Israel movement has been sidelined and ignored by many around the world is because of their bizarre fixation with absurd hyper-exaggerations and buzzwords.
Their abysmal success rate is almost laughably bad considering Jews may be the single most hated group on the planet. The world is ever ready to pounce on the slightest perceived error commited by the Jewish state. And yet, 75 years after being rebuilt, Israel is stronger than ever. Surrounded by enemies who want to destroy her and shaken by internal fighting perhaps, but the core of Israel is as strong as it has ever been.
You see, Israel has been accused of genocide and ethnic cleansing since the day the State was reestablished.
So asking Israel to stop the war while pretending that these accusations will magically disappear is ludicrous.
In fact, the day this war ends and it becomes absolutely clear that there was no genocide, you will not hear a single apology or retraction.
Just this week the UN admitted that their 8 month long blood libel of a famine in Gaza was completely fabricated. Not only wasn't this reported anywhere in the media but not a single UN organization issued an apology or even an explanation.
This is the same exact thing that took place in regard to the casualty numbers invented by Hamas that the UN decided to parrot for four months before admitting that the numbers were based off of absolutely nothing.
Israel is also accused of "occupying" Gaza despite having physically removed every single Israeli soldier and civilian that lived there. If your definition of occupation is ensuring that your enemies are not capable of getting the weapons they need to destroy you then sure, Israel is "occupying" Gaza. But in what universe is it morally correct for a government to let its own citizens be killed and its country destroyed because they don't want to be accused of occupation.
Antisemites is not bleeding into the pro-palestinian movement. It is its lifeblood. This hatred leads to outlandish accusations that normal people understand are ludicrous. Every time the UN condemns Israel while ignoring other countries who are commiting far worse atrocities than anything Israel is accused of, the world is forced to acknowledge the double standard that is placed on the worlds only Jewish state.
Thus, every action taken against Israel only strengthens the resolve of Israelis and Jews around the world who understand that Israel will never be treated fairly.
The irony is that if Israel were treated like any other country, we would have far less of a reason to need our own land, regardless of our historically legitimate claim to it.
The below picture is a clear example of the type of language that only serves to deligitimize their entire movement. The only reason to accuse Israel of controlling the world is antisemitism, but pictures like this are posted on pro-palestinian accounts and receive tens of thousands of likes.
They literally cannot control themselves from promoting material like this despite the damage it does to the credibility of their movement.
However, young people who fail to discern the difference between sympathizing with and supporting victims, and hating and demonizing a group of people are easily manipulated to support an ideology like this in which the victims are on display in their social media feeds day after day.
It is imperative that our education system takes this problem seriously and starts enabling students to use their critical thinking to understand what is going on right in front of their eyes.
Pointing out the extremism, abuse, and antisemitism, that is so easily found in the pro-palestinian movement can be an easy way to expose students to another point of vote and let them decide for themselves if this is something they want to be a part of.
Of course, it would be helpful for media other than @FoxNews and @nypost to report on this but it seems like they too have an agenda.
🔥🚨BREAKING: Tennessee convicted child rapists will be sentenced to the death penalty without any exemptions starting next week.
Tennessee has passed HB1663 to allow the death penalty for child rapists.
The vote was 77 to 19. The 19 who voted against it are ALL Democrats.
We are leading the way down here in Nashville. This is the Tennessee and American way.
Kids raised without a dad make up 90% of runaway or homeless kids, 75% of all teen murderers, 71% of HS dropouts, & 70% of incarcerated youth.
Dads. Matter.
Are we going to become a country in which journalists are regularly surrounded and threatened for doing their jobs? Because that happened yesterday to @TheFP reporter @Olivia_Reingold in downtown New York. Are we going to become a place in which marauding bands of masked young people harass Jews visiting a memorial for the 364 Israelis murdered at a music festival? Because that happened yesterday, too. Are we going to become a place where it is normal for people to get on the subway and declare: “Raise your hands if you’re a Zionist. This is your chance to get out.” Yes, also yesterday. Or where police and security guards are regularly assaulted in the course of doing their jobs? Because that happened at UCLA on the same day as well.
My point here is that anyone trying to convince you that this is about a faraway war, or that the anger in our streets is mostly because Benjamin Netanyahu is the current Israeli prime minister—anyone who insists this is a Jewish issue—is deluding you and themselves. So are those who comfort themselves by insisting that this will pass by like some idiot wind. It will not.
This is about a choice we face. A choice about what kind of country we want to be—and what kind of country we are at risk of becoming. The only way to understand that is to listen to what these protesters say they want. And what they are shouting for—what they openly desire—is not peace, but terror.

Compare and contrast the tenacity and commitment that @Israel employs to recover its hostages with that of the USA and the Biden administration.
Eight American hostages are being held by Hamas, five living and three dead.
What are we doing to get them home?
