Unsolicited Bridge Pics is a Vermont political podcast. Kinda part of @therakevermont media coop. I'm a little mean but in Vermont I'm considered a monster.
Big news! While we haven't recorded in a while (we are sorry forgive us please) we are joining up with @TheRakeVermont and would love if you could throw us/them a few bucks on their Patreon! https://t.co/kcCmMOBwSn
NEW: Activists in Georgia posted flyers naming one of the cops in Tortuguita’s killing. They were arrested, placed in solitary confinement and now face a felony and 20 years in prison. W/ @natashalennard https://t.co/ckX18lCouR
liberals rarely say the quiet part out loud, which is that they believe homeless people should be either 1) in concentration camps, 2) in shitty substandard housing or 3) eradicated
Ed gets close here!
I would urge anyone that thinks this is a wise proposal to head to #PDX#SEA#YVR#SFO#LAX etc. and spend a few days walking around their parks and then join the discussion. #BTVCC#vtpoli https://t.co/NzDxpIDKZO
The irony of people who's job it is to send people to jail where they're regularly touched inappropriately and verbally harassed by DOC staff, complaining that their prosecutor boss is giving unwanted physical touches and making "off-color" comments

Over the weekend three activists were arrested in Bartow County after flyering anti-Cop City messaging. They were charged with misdemeanor stalking and felony intimidation of a police officer.
This morning, a Bartow County Magistrate Judge denied their bond.
@vtdigger hell yes another article from VTDigger focused solely on trans pain, and another comment section for of hateful bigoted accounts that spew genocidal rhetoric and no one at Digger seems to see this as a problem
We're starting a monthly left events calendar! Lots coming up in May, starting with the May Day Rally & Picnic this Monday at 6pm in Burlington: #vt#vtpoli https://t.co/3BWNUyfBKd
good thing WCAX hasn't provided stenography for police, prosecutors, and DOC officials since forever, or else one could wonder why things have gotten so dire in Vermont prisons

"What class are you?" It's a question that Vermont Public reporter Erica Heilman has been asking people for a series about class and cultural divides that we are airing all week. In this fourth installment, Erica speaks with former state legislator.

In this installment of Vermont Public's "What class are you" series, reporter Erica Heilman speaks with Kate, a 43-year-old who lives deep in the woods in Central Vermont, and, for some legal reasons, was granted anonymity.

@veganboyjosh I know that under capitalism class is a squishy definition meant to include almost everyone, and it loses a lot of its interesting qualities by ignoring the capitalist structures + political structures that would explain why poverty and disinvestment is rampant in the NE Kingdom.
nothing better than liberals who have never read marx talking about economic class as if there's no power or exploitation involved in ones class position
Erica Heilman recently asked people she encountered in the Northeast Kingdom, "what class are you?" Now, a second week-long installment of Erica's class series is coming next week. In the meantime, catch up on the first part here ⬇️ https://t.co/IBOxdkTGOt
One of the most pernicious, but common forms of propagada is the curation by media elites of which scientific studies are reported as "news" and which "experts" are selected to discuss their significance.
@ekkornheiser@rumblestripvt I think you are misunderstanding my initial tweet, which is about someone talking about class without having any background understanding the Marxist economists who understand class as one's relationship to capitalist production and that capitalists exploit the working class
