Heard the same interaction between Hull and Middlesbrough fans by foot, tube and train.
Amicable and conciliatory. Boro sad but happy for Hull. And City supporters feeling like it’s all a dream.
No aggro or goading.
Just folks chatting, with a love of football in common.
This culture is the way forward and in England so disregarded. Boro do it right and we should be so grateful for the fan base we have. Nobody comes close on these shores. Our day will come.

2 future England managers in opposition too.
A forgotten classic.
Rumbelows Cup action from tonight in 1992: Middlesbrough v Peterborough in a quarter-final replay.
Five weeks and three postponements after the first tie, not even Fred Barber’s grotesque mask could stop Boro reaching the semis.
Stuart Ripley’s brilliant solo strike settled it.
@footballtweet What a player Ravanelli was! His link ups with Juninho were brilliant to watch! 👏🔥👏 oh and who remembers Emerson also.. The good old days
