Doing fingertip offsides also seems unfair. Any offsides rule (or any rule) in which neither player knows whether it is or isn't a foul - absent replay - seems unsporting

@ManagerTactical The NFL has been through this same story arc since the 80s. Once the viewer at home has a better view than the refs (because it can be replayed) then the game has to change.

For all the gripes about 'americanizing' tech influence, FIFA is going to travel the same road we have.
