@wallacetim@mapbliss The maps should include all trees, right? The SF map evolved this way based on what data was available, which agencies were involved, what the priorities were, how the grants were written, etc. Hard to say when more will be added. (For trees on private property it won't be soon).
The New Zealand Tea Tree (Leptospermum scoparium) is in full bloom. With its furrowed bark, dusty grey-green foliage, and pink or magenta blossoms, it's a beauty. This compact evergreen grows in any soil. See a row of them on Phelan Ave by City College.โคhttps://t.co/A87Ek9z7QV
A San Francisco schoolteacher contacted us to say she has silk worms for her first graders and wonders where to find White Mulberry trees so she can collect some leaves for food. The Urban Forest Map is a perfect resource for that! https://t.co/8xiIoYi5RF
