Every rounded corner on your Mac started with an argument in 1981 🤍
Bill Atkinson showed Steve Jobs super fast circles and ovals on the early Mac software.
Steve asked for rectangles with rounded corners too. Bill said it was too hard and not needed.
So Steve took him on a walk around the block and pointed out every rounded corner they passed. A no-parking sign finally did it.
Bill came back the next day with "RoundRects" drawing almost as fast as plain rectangles.
Look at your windows, buttons and app icons right now. Rounded corners everywhere 👀

The history of Auschwitz continues to remind us about the dangers of ideologies of othering and hatred. This is where populism, prejudice, racism, or antisemitism can lead people. We should remember the past to shape a better and more responsible future.
What's really stealing your kids' souls is that little electronic portal of anonymous evil that's glued to their hands. No one's putting a razor blade in an apple. The problem is Apple, the company. #Halloween
First privacy online was the default
Then they made accounts required
Then they made verification required
Then they made anonymity suspicious
None of this was voted on
None of it was announced as surveillance
Each step felt reasonable on its own

@Yu_Arami Awesome feature as long as there’s an option to dim/turn it off. Don‘t see negative impact besides being annoying. Doubt it‘s an energy suck, and those things are power efficient anyway.

Promoting this in any capacity is absolutely mind-boggling to me. You can play the piano on a MacBook Pro touch screen, but probably nobody should ever. You should use the Mac’s internal keyboard before you use the touch screen.
