I’m disgusted. Here is my 16 year old nephew being wrongfully arrested ON HIS LAST DAY AT SCHOOL. Even tho he complied with instructions is threatened with being tazed. Excessive force being used on a child! This is outrageous!

@RoseUnwin @mumof3amigos I’d prefer Trisomy 21 - I think it would conjure up far fewer outdated preconceptions than ds, but could be hard to change. We go for person first too, so ‘has’ not ‘is’.

We are being told that there is 'grade inflation' this year so we can return to the grim reality of one-off, high stakes testing. Maybe grades are up because counting course work means that most students do better! They can show what they know, better than in exams.
