@IGN Palworld is to Pokemon what Itchy and Scratchy is to Tom and Jerry. It's parody and fair use. It's whole premise is making joke commentary about Pokemon and human relationship being questionable and then pushing it to the max by using pals as fodder and free work labour.

I just saw some kid on TikTok saying that they wish they were a teen in the early 2000s. And I feel like kids don't understand how pervasive, constant, & violent the homophobia was. Or the misogyny.

@zashawwilkinson @SydneyBattle Plastic both is bad for the environment from CO2 emissions and from direct environmental damage. It might be slightly better to produce than farming cows but like, it's still a large contributing factor to climate change AND animals indigest it or choke to death from it.

@depression_robe @thatzodiacvirgo Due to legal contracts it's probably happening in phases and they're just not renewing each contract they had. So 2022 was the first contract to end and another is ending in 2025. It really comes down to when each individual contract ends which can be wildly different time frames

@lumpinou @KirstyCurse I'm definitely team forgets to update mods and then suffers for it but I also assume most things are mods. I think mods and CC have become so commonplace that people have forgotten it's an alteration to the game and it can and does break stuff. Even things you'd never consider.

The thing these 'I could draw/make that' types never ever understand is that they didn't make that, and they wouldn't think to either. Most people only view art in terms of literal technical skill, and not as a medium to produce an emotional or intellectual response.
