@JTShine86@NintendoAmerica Dude, you could so do much worse with just Rare games... They developed 7 LJN games! DK64 certainly has problems, no one should ever be defending Beaver Bother, but it's a fine enough collectathon overall even with the weaker parts.
@Jdog_4789@NintendoAmerica Remember to shoot things; the guns are shockingly strong. This isn't a joke, the shockwave enemies can be really annoying until you realize that shooting them down is absurdly effective. Some guns are better than others though.
@SilverArrow118@DynoStretch@NintendoAmerica At least the beetle races work properly; there are so many times the beavers will run along the edge of the hole and not fall in, it's so frustrating.
@Dwanko3 The 101% ending just requires the stuff in the top row, which does require some of the stuff in the other rows but you only need 75% of the colored bananas and basically 10% of the coins (if that). Coins in each level also aren't tracked, so you won't know or care if you miss any
@Dwanko3 This is not nearly as lengthy or difficult as the raw numbers would suggest outside of a few particular collectibles being gated behind difficult minigames. Almost none of the tracked collectibles are particularly hidden either, and the 101% ending doesn't demand colored bananas.
@guywiththepie@Destructo_Dude It being only slightly discolored is kind of accurate to how it was in its very original appearance in SMB2, though I think it was still more distinct in the game (and mushroom eyebrows simply hadn't been invented yet).
@denimneverdies Most kids enjoy school a lot more than prison. Prison doesn't have recesses or snack time. It's much more akin to work, which also has a great variability in terms of how good and bad it can be depending on many factors.
@SleeplessSights Not that I think it would be valid anyway, but why would you quote this obvious joke to say this when she has posts that are a billion times more fitting for it?
@Peko_girlboss Things only get a little better for most Pokemon when you account for TMs, because Gen 1 only has like ten good ones and isn't generous with move distribution. For example, no fossil Pokemon gets Rock Slide; Aeorodactyl gets no STAB moves at all. Normal types are the exception.
@Peko_girlboss You should see the Gen 1 movepools; it's kind of insane how so many of them have one or no STAB moves, or even no non-Normal moves. Part of this comes from Gym Leader TM moves being a no-go for natural movepools in Gen 1, so no one gets Thunderbolt... here's Magneton's.
