A major shift in public opinion or policies funding research into these areas will be needed in order for the goal of zero carbon emissions to be successful. Of course, this is difficult because most people, whether out of laziness or ignorance, care little for the environment.

Currently the goal of stopping or mitigating the effects of climate change by producing zero carbon emissions is impossible. Though there are technologies such as solar and wind that to help these efforts they come with problems of their own.
The issue is that the majority of human progress and intelligence is no longer focused on issues such as making energy cleaner. Technological improvements are being made in areas that give humans pleasure rather than in areas beneficial for the globe.
All of this is extremely difficult especially in the context of capitalism where people want to use their wealth to benefit themselves the most, which is why poverty is such a relevant issue today.
#CLN9Fall21#LetsWorkKillPoverty
Capitalism perpetuates the cycle of poverty. Consumers want to spend money on cheap and convenient goods. Suppliers satisfy this need by reducing labor/production costs as much as they can.
To combat this, the average consumer needs to be willing to sacrifice their own wealth, by paying more for certain goods or services. Additionally, owners of corporations will need to be willing to earn less profit.

Appeal to Nature
The argument that something natural is valid, justified, good, or ideal. The opposite is true: unnatural is bad or not justified.
Example: Herbal Medicine (Natural) Good, Antibiotic (Unnatural) Bad

I think the Modern Money Theory is a great way to bridge the gap between resolving debt and keeping taxes low all while maintaining a stable economy. I believe an implementation of this will be readily accepted due to its universally beneficial nature.
