#CLN9Fall21 #BuiltToLast Memory and self identity goes hand and hand. As most of ones self identify is based off their past memory of past events which translates into their likes and dislikes. Some cases of amnesia can bring about different traits of a person or changes in self.

#CLN9Fall21 #HighVoltage A huge issue with commercialism is the lack of longevity. We have so much resources, oil, electricity, materials. We have this mentality that we can just replace it and get “the new model” instead of preserving. Costing unnecessary waste to resources.

#HandleMeWithCare #CLN9Fall21 Capitalism has bribed those in charge to view people not as flesh but profitable pawns. A friend can't afford medication for ADHD. An intended 30 min assignment will take her six hours. She didn't get into college. Health costs ruin lives.

#CLN9Fall21 #Fallacies The fallacy fallacy is when someone's argument contains a fallacy, so the argument is assumed to be false. An example could be, "A says that he is good at videogames because he is good at typing. B sees the fallacy and assumes that A is bad at videogames."
