Alongside other leaders of the ADC, I am participating in a peaceful protest against the perceived partisanship of the electoral umpire.
This patriotic action is driven by our collective commitment to safeguarding Nigeria’s democracy and ensuring that our electoral process remains credible, fair, and transparent.
We must resist any attempt to undermine democratic institutions or pave the way for authoritarian tendencies.
Our stance is not just political, it is a duty to protect the integrity of our nation and preserve the will of the people. - AWT
A Call to Action for Arewa and Nigeria: Atiku Abubakar's Proven Plan for Out-of-School Children
Nigeria's out-of-school crisis, especially street-begging Almajiri children, stems from poverty, poor leadership, and lack of visionary solutions. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar offers a clear path forward.
As a private citizen, he has demonstrated real commitment:
- Founded the American University of Nigeria (AUN) and launched the Feed and Read Programme (since 2015), providing nutritious meals, basic literacy, and numeracy to hundreds of vulnerable Almajiri children, many graduating from the program.
- Built and supported modern Tsangaya (integrated) schools to blend Qur'anic education with Western education.
His personal story, from humble beginnings to success through education, drives his passion. If elected President, Atiku will prioritize quality education for every Nigerian child, modernize the Almajiri/Tsangaya system, and bring millions back to school.
Drop tribalism, regionalism, and emotions. Support competence. Atiku Abubakar is the solution Nigeria needs.

This afternoon, I met with a group of young politicians from Katsina State. They are organised under the forum of former councilors, and led by its Chairman, Hon Aminu Yunusa Rimaye.
I admire their passion for the betterment of our country. I told them about the values of resilience and peserverance.
I encouraged them not to give up on our beloved country notwithstanding the challenges it may be going through.
I assured them that it is only a passing phase, and that with the right leadership and motivation we shall prevail.
Many compariots including my mentor, Tafida Shehu Musa Yar'adua, from Katsina, paid the supreme price for this democracy we have today. We cannot afford to give up until we achieve the Nigeria of our dream. -AA

Press Statement by The Atiku Movement (TAM)
Date: September 1, 2025
For Immediate Release
Tinubu’s Infrastructure Claims: A Web of Lies, Deception, and Propaganda
The Atiku Movement (TAM) unequivocally condemns President Bola Tinubu’s recent claims on infrastructure spending, as articulated in his September 1, 2025, post on his X handle (@officialABAT), as a shameful display of falsehoods, deception, and propaganda. His assertion that his administration’s infrastructure projects, such as the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway and Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway are delivering equitable development across Nigeria is not only misleading but an insult to the intelligence of Nigerians suffering under his administration’s economic failures.
President Tinubu’s claim of allocating ₦5.97 trillion to the Northwest and N2.1 trillion to the South-South, among other regions, for transformative infrastructure projects lacks any shred of verifiable evidence. These figures, touted with fanfare, are nothing but a mirage designed to distract Nigerians from the harsh realities of a collapsing economy, soaring poverty (47.2% in 2024), and rampant inflation. The Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway, a ₦15 trillion project awarded without transparent bidding to Hitech Construction, owned by Tinubu’s ally Gilbert Chagoury, stands as a glaring example of cronyism and inflated costs. With only 175 km reportedly under construction, Nigerians are left wondering where these billions have vanished, as the promised “coastal transformation” remains a pipe dream.
Similarly, the Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway, heralded as a 1,068 km game-changer, has seen a mere 10 km completed in Kebbi, despite claims of massive funding.
These are not the actions of a government committed to development but of one steeped in propaganda, recycling old promises to mask its failures.
Tinubu’s administration has consistently relied on lies to paper over its incompetence. From the unfulfilled promise that fuel subsidy removal would fund infrastructure to the opaque handling of Nigeria’s ₦13 trillion budget deficit, this government has shown a reckless disregard for truth and accountability. While Nigerians grapple with hunger and unemployment, Tinubu’s regime prioritizes lavish spending, such as ₦21 billion on a vice-presidential residence, over delivering verifiable results. His claim of “equitable development” is a cruel jest when Lagos, his political stronghold, disproportionately benefits from projects like the Lekki Deep Sea Port Access Road, while other regions languish in neglect.
The Atiku Movement calls on Nigerians to reject this administration’s deceitful narrative. President Tinubu’s infrastructure claims are not just exaggerations; they are a deliberate attempt to mislead a nation crying out for genuine leadership. We demand immediate transparency, including independent audits of all infrastructure spending and a public disclosure of contract awards. Nigerians deserve a government that builds roads, not illusions; one that fosters hope, not despair.
We stand with the Nigerian people in exposing and resisting this government’s reliance on lies, deception, and propaganda. The Atiku Movement remains committed to advocating for a Nigeria where truth prevails, and governance serves the people, not the powerful.
Signed,
The Atiku Movement (TAM) Media Team. #TheAtikuMovement
Nafisa Deserves Recognition: $100,000, a flat, and OON!
I read from various reliable sources that Nafisa Abdullah Aminu, a 17-year-old student from Yobe State in Nigeria, has indeed been recognised as the top performer in English language skills globally at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals held in London, United Kingdom. She outperformed over 20,000 participants from 69 countries, including native English-speaking nations, to win the competition. We are proud of you, Nafisa.
It was also reported that Nafisa is a student of Nigerian Tulip International College (NTIC) in Yobe State. This her achievement has sparked our celebration.
There is no doubt that her success can be attributed to her natural talent, dedication, discipline, and support she received from her parents and the schools she attended. Nafisa's achievement highlights her as a shining example of Nigerian students' potential to excel globally with the right opportunities and enabling environment. This kind of feat requires more encouragement from the government.
Recently, our women's football team won the Women's Africa Cup in Morocco. Each player received $100,000, a three-bedroom flat, and a national honour of the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON). In addition, our Nigeria’s women’s national basketball team, D'Tigress, was appreciated following their historic fifth consecutive victory at the 2025 FIBA Women’s AfroBasket Championship for becoming the first African team to qualify for the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup Pre-Qualifying Tournament.
I strongly recommend that Nafisa deserves $100,000, a three-bedroom flat, and a national honour from the federal government of Nigeria. In addition, her English teacher deserves a reward similar to the one given to the coaching and technical team of the football and basketball players. We must continue to take education very seriously and reward the efforts of our citizens.
Interestingly, it is said that education is the passport to future development, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today through education and skills.
Finally, it is essential to always temember that education is the foundation upon which we build our future and the future of our country. Let's invite our daughter and the daughter of all Nigerians, along with her English teacher, to the presidency. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.
