The National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency, NESREA, has launched an investigation into a suspected chemical spill on the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway that resulted in the formation of a white, foamy substance. This is a good move. 👍🏾
I have gone back to my family the Rainbow Coalition family, anybody waiting to collect something from me before the end of my tenure is wasting time, because there is nothing to collect.
I have urged all my supporters to go back to the Rainbow Coalition family and support...
This is what President Tinubu has done to reduce the impact of the Iran War on you and your family.
Very few countries were as prepared for the shocks to the world economy occasioned by the Iran War as Nigeria. Unfortunately, opposition politicians and activists are often too blind to the truth. Consider, for example, the CNG vehicle initiative. Compressed Natural Gas is less affected by the crisis than Premium Motor Spirit in Nigeria because Nigeria has much more LNG than crude oil, and our gas reserves and production are not as tied up in future contracts as are our crude production.
You have to give it to President Tinubu. He was visionary enough that, just before petrol prices rose to ₦1,400, he ordered the immediate nationwide deployment of 100,000 CNG conversion kits on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
This is part of ongoing efforts to increase CNG penetration in Nigeria to reduce reliance on Premium Motor Spirit, which is more expensive and volatile.
And it does not stop there. The President directed the Presidential Initiative on Compressed Natural Gas (Pi-CNG) to immediately begin additional construction of CNG refuelling stations, with 12 new mega stations commissioned and 75 more under construction along major interstate routes, especially the vital Lokoja-Abuja-Kaduna-Kano route, which is vital to the supply of food from the North to the South, as well as around Maiduguri. The progress achieved in such a short period of time is a testament to the Nigerian can-do spirit.
And in anticipation of the crisis, which had resulted in sabre-rattling amongst the belligerents for months before the actual conflict began, President Tinubu had ordered the disbursement of N573 billion to the 36 states to prepare for the impact on the world economy.
Additionally, to make Nigeria's economy more resilient and less vulnerable to the vicissitudes of the global economy, President Tinubu signed Executive Order No. 9 on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, making compulsory the direct remittance of all oil and gas proceeds to the Federation Account Allocation Committee without any deductions.
The immediate consequence of the Executive Order was an instant increase in allocations to all states and local governments in Nigeria by at least 5%. Likely more.
The technical details of this order are that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is projected to remit an additional ₦906 billion annually to the Federation Account, while the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission is expected to remit upwards of ₦8 trillion to the same pool.
These monies are going DIRECTLY to your states and local governments. As of today, every Nigerian state is receiving at least double what it used to get before the Tinubu administration came into being.
On the macroeconomic side, the Central Bank of Nigeria has injected liquidity into the foreign exchange market to stabilise the Naira amid global pressures, which is why, instead of seeing the Naira plummet during this crisis, as has been happening to other currencies globally, the Nigerian currency has rather stabilised and then appreciated against the Dollar, appreciating to ₦1,345 to the Dollar on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
This means that Nigeria and Nigerians will see their purchasing power rise slightly to match the likely increase in inflation resulting from the Middle East crisis.
So, know that you have a President who, as a Cum Laude (First Class) accounting graduate of Chicago State University, understands the global economy and how interlinked it is. He has taken steps to cushion the impact of the conflict on you and your loved ones, and now your duty as a citizen is to hold your Governors accountable and ensure that the intervention funds they received are utilised for the purposes for which they were disbursed.

The Aspirants’ Screening Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention 2026, chaired by Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, has just screened the Party’s National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda @nentawe1, asking him to take a bow in recognition of his commendable leadership.
APC National Convention 2026 Uniforms are being massively produced by a Nigerian Textile Company. What this means is that, even our Convention is already creating and sustaining jobs for many. The GDP is also smiling at our Convention!!!!
We are fully ready!!!!!
APC is the Party, Asiwaju is the President, Nigeria 🇳🇬 is the Country ❤️
In fairness, we should not expect a person, especially someone as well educated as Prof. Isa Ali Pantami, to hold on to opinions and views formed over 20 years ago. A lot has changed within that period, society has evolved, realities have shifted and knowledge has expanded. Yet, some people still expect others to remain rigid-minded individuals, someone who insists on clinging to ideas, methods and ways of thinking from two or three decades ago and forcing them on today’s world. That is bad.
If education, science and technology had not been continuously updated in line with global developments, the world would never have achieved the progress we see today, let alone human beings themselves. Growth is a product of learning, exposure and the willingness to reassess old positions.
Prof. Pantami is absolutely right to change his opinions about politics and life, especially when his continuous pursuit of education and knowledge has shown him better and more informed paths than those he previously held.
We should know that changing opinions and views in the face of deeper understanding is not a weakness, it is a mark of wisdom and intellectual maturity.
So it is Pantami for Gombe 2027.
Yesterday too, I visited my friend, the Amanyanabo of Torusarama Piri, in Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State, Asari Dokubo, in his palace.
He assured that he will support the reelection of Mr President as a pay back for what the President did for him in stood his time of need.

Shey President Tinubu will throw a man that controls the majority structures in Rivers State and FCT under the bus??
For the first time, FCT is looking good for APC
2027, we go all learn
THANK YOU MR PRESIDENT.
A father’s love, though unseen cannot be measured, but it is always felt by his children and it does not fade.
I dedicate this appointment to the caller on Super 93.3FM in Port Harcourt, who once told me that I always talk like Tinubu is my father and loved him more than my wife, and yet the man has abandoned me and does not remember that I exist.
My truthful answer then was that my love and support for President Tinubu was not just based on my expectations of reward, but on my conviction that the President will do things differently from every other leader, and Nigeria will be better, and the numbers will show that Nigeria is better. Today the President is doing things differently and the numbers are beginning to show that Nigeria is on the right course.
With my appointment as Chairman of Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), the President has not only given me Senator Magnus Abe a great and unique opportunity to contribute to the transformation of our country in a key sector, but has demonstrated once again the unique qualities that make him a master of the game and why thousands of people like me have followed him over the years and millions more are following.
Nigeria is not becoming a one party state, rather, in Tinubu Nigerians have simply found a leader that all Nigerias can trust.
Thank you Mr President. A father that rewards genuine loyalty and promotes competence. I will never stop following Tinubu.
Let me also thank the ‘001 of the Tinubu political family in Rivers State’, the FCT Minister, the man who did what no other politician has ever been able to achieve — he delivered Rivers state to Tinubu and the APC in the most difficult election in the history of Nigerian politics.
No one can claim to love Mr President and be ungrateful to our ‘Mr Project’, his support at a critical point meant a lot to our success as a family and continues to be pivotal to the success of the Tinubu family in Rivers State, which he has reformed into a unique rainbow coalition called the RENEWED HOPE FAMILY.
My friend, my brother, our Nyerishi, thank you. I and my family owe you what words cannot express. Thank you sir.
Finally, to Almighty God who makes all things possible, whose mercy alone endures forever, it is only on God’s foundation of life and good health that we can enjoy, compete and thrive, to you eternal father be all glory, Praise and adoration forever and ever.
To all my friends and well wishers across the land, just praise God, ignore the naysayers, pay your tax, and support the reform agenda. Better days are coming for our Country.
Senator Magnus Ngei Abe
Former Director-General of the DSS, Lawal Daura, announces his candidacy for the 2027 Katsina governorship election.
Former State Security Service Director-General, Lawal Daura, has announced his plans to run for the 2027 governorship election in Katsina State. He criticized the current administration's performance and highlighted ongoing security issues as key reasons for his decision to enter the race.
During an interview with DCL Hausa on Tuesday, Mr. Daura stated that he has finished consulting about his political aspirations and will soon reveal the political party under which he plans to run.
He said, “I have been making consultations on the platform to use to contest, and the consultations have been concluded. Very soon, I will make the platform known.
“Why do people serve for one or two terms? If they get it right, fine. But if the reverse is the case, then there is no point in seeking re-election. It is obvious the current governor is not capable.
“It is like putting a load on somebody and adjusting it. If he complains that the load is too heavy, you have to take it down to avoid destroying fragile items. For the current administration, we can say thank you for your efforts, but you should take a break because you can’t continue.
“I never saw myself coming out to contest. I admire politics, but I only participated from the background.”
I'm speaking to you as a reverend father in the church. I'm speaking to you as a governor of a state. If there were any, particularly in my state or any part of Nigeria, I would have been the very number one person to make a noise.” - Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia https://t.co/tuX91x4Ito

STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE
PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES FORMER PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN ON HIS 68TH BIRTHDAY
President Bola Tinubu congratulates former President Goodluck Jonathan on his 68th birthday.
The President joins family, friends, and political associates to celebrate the former President on this special occasion and for his contributions to nation-building.
President Tinubu notes the simplicity and humility that define Dr Jonathan's style of leadership, particularly his demonstration of statesmanship during the 2015 presidential election, which strengthened Nigeria's democracy and gave the nation a pride of place.
The President recalls his various meetings with the former President, and the support and counsel that made Dr Jonathan's ascent possible, particularly in 2010, and the presidential election of 2011.
President Tinubu believes Dr Jonathan's statesmanship has continued to inspire many leaders, even as he takes up challenging international diplomatic responsibilities, particularly in promoting democratic culture and values in Africa.
The President prays for the well-being of the former President, his wife, Patience, and the rest of his family.
