The United States delivered results at this week's #UNTOC2026. 🇺🇸 We advanced practical action against transnational organized crime and stronger law enforcement cooperation against drug trafficking and those who enable criminal networks.  Our two resolutions tackled organized crime and achieved reform into the UNTOC COP framework.

The United States is making its position clear at #UNTOC2026 on Iran’s conditional accession to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime. “A State that reserves away criminalization, determines that cooperation is optional, and carves out political exemptions for armed groups it supports has not joined this Convention in any meaningful sense. Our priorities: strengthen law enforcement cooperation, follow the money, close safe havens, and hold facilitators accountable. Protect Americans. Dismantle criminal networks.
