I’m not paying more than $20 a month for an AI subscription. Either they figure out how to make it cheaper or I won’t use it as much.

@loftwah A mass boycott would be great to get them used to offering reasonable pricing and limitations. Of course, such an organized effort is neither possible nor are all users aware or well-intentioned enough to undertake it.

If your AI model is too expensive to sustain, price your tiers correctly from day one. Don't lure devs in with promises you can't fund, only to throttle them post-payment. Altering the promised service after taking the money isn't "agile business", it's theft.

Over the last month, I’ve subscribed to @GitHubCopilot , @windsurf , @antigravity , & @OpenAI #codex. Every single one changed their usage terms & limits after I paid. Selling a service and quietly downgrading the quota mid-subscription is a blatant bait-and-switch.

These AI coding IDE providers act like arbitrary operational changes are their absolute right. It fundamentally violates consumer rights and fair use. A subscription is a contract. You can't just move the goalposts because your compute costs got too high.
