Earlier today, I saw reports that Tottenham are willing to pay €100 million to sign Savinho.
It made me wonder: why have all the big European clubs taken advantage of the Premier League’s crazy spending, while Barcelona have barely managed to benefit from it?
Even when Barça finally tried to take advantage of it, Chelsea’s offer for Fermín was laughable.
Now Manchester United are asking about Balde and want to know his situation.
The transfer window is approaching its final stages, and prices usually double when the buying club is desperate. United need a left back.
If they really want Balde, Barcelona shouldn’t even consider negotiating for less than €80 million.
@zekariastt@htomufc I get that but my concern is it doesn’t seem like a smart deal considering he will have missed pretty much the entire pre season and will recover from his injury in September and he had a pretty poor campaign last season as well
it’s remarkable just how much populist right wing rhetoric can be so easily disproved by the govt
“we are being taken over by the immigrant invasion”
- net migration has fallen 80%
“labour love the small boats”
- channel crossings are down 45% on where they were this time last year, and deportations are up 41% under labour
“our streets are no longer safe under labour”
- homicides now the lowest they’ve been in 50 years, and knife murders are at a 10 year low

@giddy_fx@Leumaswazhere2 Ruben Amorim was employed to win games. He failed to do that consistently. He underperformed with a squad capable of finishing in the CL spots. He was rightfully sacked.
That’s exactly what Ruben Amorim was trying to change.
He was building a Manchester United team that would dominate games, not one that sits back and waits for moments in transition.
He said it repeatedly - the goal was to control matches, control the ball, and impose ourselves on opponents.
But this squad has been conditioned for years to play counter-attacking and transition football. Changing that mentality was never going to be easy.
People act like Amorim didn’t know how to grind out results. Of course he did. He’s not stupid.
He simply refused to sacrifice the long-term identity of the team just to survive week to week.
He wanted United to play like Manchester United again - taking the game to opponents, not behaving like underdogs.
🚨🚨🎙️| Bryan Mbeumo asked why he wears No. 19:
"It was the only number left in my first professional team, but for me it was looking good.
"Like, because, you know, No. 10, No. 11, No. 7 always look good, you know? But after this, then you have some numbers like 13, 14, 15. Like, for me, it doesn't like look good on the shirt.
"Maybe they can, but like, and then the 19 was like, yeah, I like this number. And then I just took it."
🚨💣 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐕𝐄: Some Manchester United players and members of the coaching staff believe they have REAL CHANCES to win the Premier League this season.
Man United are not playing in any other competitions and are 100% focused on the league.
Right now, they are 12 points behind Arsenal, but some believe that if they continue at this pace, they can close the gap and win the league.
🚨 There was genuine DISBELIEF at Napoli that Manchester United were giving consideration to letting Kobbie Mainoo go. Similar feelings were held among many of the Premier League clubs who were interested in taking Mainoo on loan last month. #MUFC [@TelegraphDucker]
