High-Level Meeting between the @IndiaCoastGuard and #JapanCoastGuard was held at Coast Guard Headquarters #NewDelhi on 14 Jan 26, led by Director General Paramesh Sivamani, AVSM, PTM, TM and Admiral Yoshio Seguchi, Commandant #JCG respectively. Both sides reviewed bilateral cooperation and agreed to enhance collaboration in
#SearchAndRescue, #MarinePollutionResponse,
#MaritimeLawEnforcement, technology, training and capacity building. Discussions also covered cooperation for #CGGS (Coast Guard Global Summit, #ICGFR (International Coast Guard Fleet Review) and multilateral maritime collaborations. The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of #India and #Japan to a free, open, inclusive and rules-based #IndoPacific maritime order.
