Nothing is being done on our complaints. The drainage are still choked. The vegetables vendors are still throwing garbage inside the drain. Water is coming back resulting in flooding of our basement.

@richapintoi We have several stray dogs inside and outside our society. BMC had given infection to only one dog, rest they couldn't catch. They never came back despite requests.

Mumbai Water Supply | Aug 11-12

BMC will undertake a partial shutdown of the 2,400-mm Vaitarna water pipeline from 10 am on Aug 11 to 10 am on Aug 12.

• K South Ward (Andheri east): Water supply at low pressure in select areas during specified hours.

• H East Ward: Complete water cut affecting Santacruz (E), Khar (E), Bandra (E), BKC, Bandra Terminus, Domestic Airport, Air India Colony, Hangar Staff Colony and nearby areas.

BMC advisory: Residents are advised to store sufficient water, use it judiciously, and boil & filter drinking water for the next few days as a precaution.

We had collectively applied MGL PNG connection on 13th of March 2026.
But installations of PNG gas connection in few flats (C-801, C-502, A-803,etc) is still pending. Whenever we contact the MGL officials either they are moved out or not responding.

Today's situation (07-Jul-2026): The stormwater from Shastri Nagar continues to flow directly into our society's basement, causing severe flooding with filthy water, garbage, mud, sludge, and other waste. Our dewatering pumps are repeatedly getting choked, making the situation worse after every rainfall.

Despite repeated complaints, no action has been taken. The drainage line has still not been cleared, so instead of flowing through the drain, the entire rainwater flows over the surface and into our basement. The drain is damaged at several locations. Even when we attempt temporary repairs, the water finds another path into our society. Any cleaning carried out is rendered useless after the next spell of rain.

To make matters worse, human excreta from the adjoining slum is being discharged into our society, creating an extremely serious public health and sanitation hazard.

We are living in unbearable conditions. We urgently request the authorities to take immediate action to repair the drainage system, clear the blocked drains, stop the inflow of contaminated water, and protect the health and safety of our residents.

Very dirty and smelly water is coming though BMC water lines in our society (Rizvi Utopia, besides Shastri Nagar and Kalina Donger, Behind Egypt Church, Kalina, Santacruz East, Mumbai).

We can not drink water at all. We have to throw out water for 20-30 mins to get the clear water. Pl check the leakage and solve it.

A large tree near our society (Rizvi Utopia CHSL, behind Egypt Church, Nr St Mary School, Shastri Nagar, Kalina, Santacruz East) is about to fall. It may cause injury or property damage. Please instruct the BMC Garden Deptt to visit and inspect the tree and do the needful action so that any untoward incident is avoided.
