As we move forward with new construction on Legacy Elementary this year, the Uvalde CISD Moving Forward Foundation team wanted to celebrate all of the progress that was made in 2024.

The topping-out ceremony involved families of the May 2022 tragedy at Robb Elementary, and those involved with the school's development, signing their names onto the final beam completing the school’s structural phase. It was a historic milestone in the building process.

The Uvalde CISD Moving Forward Foundation is honored to announce a $200,000 contribution from the Rainwater Charitable Foundation (@RCFNeuro) to the fundraising efforts toward building the new Legacy Elementary School in @Uvalde_CISD.

This gift is in addition to a $2 million gift given at the start of the Foundation's work in 2022.
