Nelson Mandela famously remarked, "Do not judge me by my success, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again."
It's true that, despite heartaches and losses, what counts is how each difficult day leads to a great day. Girls, have faith in the resilience in your hearts, the fire you carry, and the choice to keep fighting even when it’s hard. You can do this 💙

If you think the people in our government cares about the environment, Gina Lopez was kicked out from being the DENR secretary by 16 over 8 votes against her.
Within 10 months in her post, she closed 23 mining operations, banned open-pit mining and shut down half of the country's mining companies.
Unfortunately, members of the congressional committee decided to remove her, as some of the 16 members who voted are connected on the mining industry, which explains why most of mining operations resumed after Gina Lopez got fired.
This is one of the most disgusting examples of our politicians prioritizing their personal interest over environmental welfare.
If only Ma’am Gina Lopez were still here, ano kaya ang magiging situation ng environment natin ngayon?
Cheldren are proud of their senator.
Senator Tulfo said it best: the impeachment court is not the proper forum to air senators’ personal grievances, nor is it the time or place to look for colleagues facing criminal cases. So, to the Cayetanos and Padilla, stop wasting the court’s time for your drama.
🚨Ginamit ang Kaso ng Tatay ni Chel Against Him?! Pia Cayetano vs. Chel Diokno Showdown
Senator-Judge Pia Cayetano came in super hot, looking like she’s low-key auditioning to be the head of VP Sara’s defense squad.
She really brought out the dramatic legal jargon at pasigaw-sigaw pa about an unconstitutional “general search warrant" just because the prosecution wants to subpoena VP Sara Duterte’s bank, BIR, and AMLC records.
Pia also cited the landmark Stonehill v. Diokno case — literally invoking Atty. Chel Diokno’s own dad, former Justice Secretary Jose W. Diokno — just to argue na "fishing expedition" daw ang tumingin sa 20-years worth of financial records without witness testimony first.
🌷What Pia Cayetano actually said:
“A subpoena cannot be used as a fishing expedition. The Constitution requires that any compulsory process must particularly describe the records sought based on foundational evidence already presented. Without that, you are essentially asking this court to issue a general warrant — which is strictly prohibited under our Constitution."
☘️Chel Diokno’s Answers
But Atty. Chel Diokno stayed unbothered, calm, and collected, and gave a total breakdown on basic law.
Sabi nya:
1. A court subpoena ordering banks to submit documents is NOT a search warrant. Very invasive ang search warrant. Sa subpoena, walang physical intrusion or nanggugulo sa bahay, which makes Pia's general search warrant drama and Stonehill v. Diokno flex is not applicable.
2. How is it a "fishing expedition" when the request is SPECIFIC? It specifically targets the bank, BIR, and AMLC records of VP Sara and her husband. Everything directly aligns with Article II (unexplained wealth and SALN discrepancies)!
3. Under R.A. 1405 (Bank Secrecy Law), bank deposits are confidential *except* under specific conditions. Chel reminded the tribunal na the text of the law explicitly lists “impeachment cases” as an exception.
4. Chel cited the 2012 Corona trial, where the Senate routinely subpoenaed historical bank records. Chel even cited transcripts showing that Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano (Pia's own brother!) argued back then that pre-term bank records were vital "opening evidence" to uncover the truth.
🔸My Opinion:
Pia really tried to weaponize Chel's own family legacy against him, pero na-lecturan lang siya on the difference between respecting privacy and hiding paper trails of public funds.
If Pia wants to lawyer so hard for Sara, she should just ditch her senator-judge robe, step down from the dais, and sit directly at the defense table
THEY ARE HIJACKING THE IMPEACHMENT TRIAL!
If you want to defend your 2018 Southeast Asian Games Kaldero --- do it elsewhere! Magpatawag ka ng press conference!
This is an impeachment court, not your own personal stage!
Dear Angel Locsin,
When you called out Senator Robin Padilla, it was the reality check the internet needed.
Seeing him use an impeachment trial to declare “Komunista po ako" was pure political theater.
As you rightly asked, where was this "rebel" solidarity when you were red-tagged?
Instead of standing up, he was busy fraternizing with the red-taggers.
BUT… by any actual political definition, Robin is not a communist.
Here are 10 reasons why:
1. Robin built his entire multi-decade career on being the ultimate capitalist anti-hero. He starred in blockbusters glorifying the individual who gets the girl and the money. That’s pure free-market economics, baby.
2. A true communist stands against the ruling class; Robin consistently defends ultra-conservative oligarchs like Apollo Quiboloy.
3. He is a loyalist to the Duterte family that champions a right-wing, highly centralized political dynasty.
4. He kept silent when actual activists and human rights defenders were being targeted by the likes of Lorraine Badoy and Jeffrey Celiz.
5. Through his wife, Mariel, his household is heavily involved in high-end retail, most notably her viral live-selling of designer goods like Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci.
Karl Marx wrote extensively about how "commodity fetishism" under capitalism blinds society to the exploitation of the working class.
Running a commercial business that markets ₱500,000 designer bags to elite socialites is about as far removed from the socialist struggle as physically possible.
6. Karl Marx famously declared religion to be the "opiate of the masses." Robin Padilla is an openly devout Muslim who frequently invokes faith in his political rhetoric. This is a direct contradiction to the core tenets of orthodox Marxism.
7. His soft stance on China’s West Philippine Sea incursions contradicts genuine anti-imperialist, leftist values.
8. He actively aligns with and supports military-backed, anti-communist task forces like the NTF-ELCAC.
9. His biggest project in the Senate is Charter Change that aims to open the Philippines to 100% foreign corporate ownership. Actual communists are fiercely anti-imperialist and oppose foreign capitalist control.
10. Beyond his celebrity earnings, Robin is a wealthy property owner and businessman. He benefits directly from the rental economy and private capital—the very things communism seeks to abolish.
Also, according to his official financial disclosures (SALN), Robin boasts a staggering net worth of over ₱244 million and he has declared absolutely zero liabilities. While the working-class proletariat struggles with inflation and rising costs, he sits comfortably in the top fraction of the country's wealthiest 1%.
Your post was a powerful reminder of the gap between the Robin we grew up watching and the politician he became.
Performative rebels (like his “Bad boy” image) always fold when the system is actually challenged.
Don't count on him to change, Angel.
It’s hard not to reach for the mute button whenever certain senator-judges make manifestations or ask questions that sound more like those of defense counsel than of impartial adjudicators. 🤷🏼♀️
#VPonTrial#Impeachment
DAY 6: A fellow senator-judge has jokingly asked me if he can move for the division of the house every time he feels annoyed by manifestations obviously irrelevant to the impeachment trial. I told him, a motion to adjourn will elicit more applause from the equally annoyed gallery.
@iampinglacson The impeachment court should not be used for grandstanding and promotion of self agenda. I understand that all senators are equal as judges but can someone please call out the obvious lawyering for the defense of 3 senators.

Imagine, ang mga nagppresent ng evidence ay sina Atty. Chel Diokno, Atty. Ligutan, Atty. Lorna Kapunan, and other respectable lawyers. Tapos ang isa sa senator-judges si Robin Padilla. Hahaha LET THAT SINK IN! Mga kabataan, wag papayag sa 2028 election na paurong tayo! #VPonTrial
