Quentin Tarantino says his biggest issue with Marvel isn’t the movies themselves, it’s that they’ve become the entire movie industry.
Tom Segura : "You love these Marvel movies."
Quentin Tarantino : "I don’t love them. I don’t hate them either. If they came out when I was in my twenties, I would’ve been fucking happy. But they wouldn’t have been the only movies being made."
Tom Segura : "What’s exciting about movies is usually the element of surprise. A lot of these films just feel like carbon copies of the last one."
Quentin Tarantino : "I’m not here to rag on them. My only axe to grind is they’re the only things that seem to be made. They’re the only movies studios get excited about."
Tom segura : "They also make billion-dollar box offices."
Quentin Tarantino : "Exactly. That’s literally my problem. They’ve become the entire representation of this era of movies, and there’s not really much room for anything else."
