I know we are obsessed with pastor worship as a people, and I'm not asking you to insult any pastor. But please do not exalt the messenger above the message. Christ is the gospel, so do not intentionally or unintentionally exalt any pastor above the gospel.

It is simple, any gospel that contradicts the gospel of Christ is not of God because the gospel is Christ himself. You have a responsibility to test any spirit whether they are of God because false pastors were prophesied by Christ to arise in our generation. This is why you have to know God and you can't know him if you don't know the scriptures. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God(Roms 10:17), not the mumbles of pastors. Open that bible and let God bring you light. Again, do not exalt the messenger above the message. The gospel is Christ himself.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.

Any gospel that does not project Christ is not of God. You were not there when anybody was anointed by God to minister. Crosscheck whatever they are saying, with the scripture. You're saved already and so a joint heir with Christ(Roms 8:17) seated in heavenly places in Christ(Eph 2:6). Don't be afraid to call out ungodly doctrine that does not project the knowledge of Christ. Don't let anyone mislead you out of the faith with false doctrine. We have the mind of Christ (1 Cor 2:16).

We can all make mistake, but the foundation of God standeth sure! (2Tim 2:19).
