Millions across the U.S. are facing their first round of summer heat this week!
Your first instinct on a 90-degree day may be to get in the car, crank the AC to max and sit there, but there’s a much faster way to clear out stagnant air.
Remember: a parked car gets dangerously hot instantly. NEVER leave a child or pet alone in a vehicle, not even for a second.
If you see a child or a pet left unattended in a car, please contact 9-1-1 immediately.

As we recognize Gun Safety Awareness Month, pediatricians and law enforcement professionals are coming together around a shared message: safe storage saves lives.
Firearms are now the leading cause of death for children and teens.
🔒 4.6M children live in homes with unlocked, loaded guns.
🔹 Locking just 20% could prevent up to 135 youth deaths a year.
Being a responsible gun owner means securing your firearms.
Watch the new video series from IACP, in partnership with On Call 4 Kids, on the IACP website to hear from pediatricians and law enforcement officers working together to keep kids safe and families protected. 💙 https://t.co/SFlMz3Z2Oy

🔎🔎🔎How could "new tools" crack the Nancy Guthrie case?
Four months after her suspected abduction from home in Tucson's Catalina Foothills, sources say the FBI is looking at bringing in new tech in the search for answers.
@morganwright_us, CEO and founder of the National Center for Open and Unsolved Cases, says the breakthrough could come from advanced video forensics, cell data analysis — or technology that can finally identify the vehicle or person hidden behind the mask.
“Video is what's going to break this case open,” he tells Fox News Digital. And although the FBI has recovered and released images from Guthrie's Nest doorbell camera, investigators could have more by now.
There's also the chance that IGG investigators come up with a match while this new work is underway, he says.
There's a combined reward of over $1.2 million that hasn't been claimed — which is another sign of a lone perpetrator, he adds.

I join the Chesterfield County Police Department in praying for the swift recovery of their officers who were injured in yesterday's shooting, and in mourning the loss of their K-9, "Knight." I'm grateful to these officers and to all of our first responders who work to keep our neighbors safe.
