@LGAairport I know TSA is not funded. But the terminals themselves ARE fully funded. Informing your customers accurately seems like something you could do to help everyone and to reiterate you are fully funded. The terminals are not paid for by federal dollars.

@BrianLehrer@samanthaellimax@WNYC Reporting crime numbers only by percentage increases tells a distorted story. A 17.5% increase in car thefts sounds bad. But if that is on a base of only 100 last year, it’s not so bad. Reporting rates per 100k gives better data.

Quite correct; in addition, many states in the 19th century adopted laws enfranchising aliens (not citizens) who had lived in the US for a couple of years and declared their intention to become citizens.
