@brownk3_@ByJordanKroeger@ccgaathletics @CCGAMBB Congratulations Kenny! You're hard work on the court and especially in the classroom sets the bar for a lot of student athletes! Best of Luck at Coastal! #wolvesUP#fgc
Be kind, don’t judge, and have respect for others. If we can all do this, the world would be a better place. The point is to teach this to the next generation.
Anyone can lead when you’ve won 5 in a row, everyone is healthy, your chemistry is great, and it’s 75° and sunny. However, leaders are most needed when the stuff hits the fan: when you’ve lost several in a row, your team is reeling, and the situation looks bleak.
To the college freshmen student-athletes:
1) Homesickness is totally natural. But it is temporary.
2) It’s ok to be nervous- nervous means you care.
3) The best way to curtail these fears- is to immerse yourself and keep yourself busy.
You’re not alone. It’s going to be OK.
You only have four years of college volleyball. What are you willing to sacrifice during that time to be great? Will you be the best teammate you can and put the team above your own selfish desires? This is the true test. #culturematters#familymatters#teammatesmatter 💙🐔🤜🤛
Every time i see bad Volleyball being played i feel the need to correct it. Today it was a team that was practicing on sand courts. Coach allowed them to serve under hand and get one hit and over....smh
Excited about our 51 campers today! I know we gave them a bunch of reps and information about our great team sport!
Our camp grows every year up from 43 campers last year! #fgcvb#wolvesUP
Players,
One day you’ll wake up, and there won’t be anymore practices to attend. Please realize how fortunate you are to be out there with your team, and make every moment together special. Show up, work hard, but most importantly, have fun!
Love,
Your Coach

Don’t let the words of another affect your happiness. No one has that power unless you give it to them. Gandhi said, “I will not let anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet”... and neither should you.
Advice for Young Coaches:
34) Take care of yourself if you want to last and be most effective as a coach. Exercise, eat right, take a day off, go on vacation, delegate, read, find others to open up to & de-stress. It’s difficult to help others if you don’t take care of yourself.
@epjackson@AtlBizChron Congratulations E, i appreciate your coverage of our program and your constant professionalism. I'm going to ask for your couch to stay on when im recruiting in the ATL!
@TedGilkey@lsanti1@AVCAVolleyball I agree, i dont think i have ever recruited or even talked to a kid younger than 10th grade about my schools. I always say that they dont even know what they want for lunch today, much less what they want to major in!
Don't curse the running that conditions you.
Don't whine about the lifting that strengthens you.
Don't complain about the adversity that toughens you.
Don't criticize the coaching that improves you.
Don't bite the hand that feeds you.
