To *animal researchers*, a must-read on a sensitive topic https://t.co/JC0BYLrorK: statistical power of #animalresearch and of the number of animals used. A thread of why-do-I-like-this-paper or watch a 10-min video https://t.co/g1xCJhUKTS @NatureNeuro https://t.co/LhFdWpUeKm
🥳 DR BONAPERSONA! 🥳
First PhD in the family, and cum laude. The shout out goes to Marian,@sarabdjitsingh &Herbert: the best team I could wish for.
I had a lovely day with family/friends/colleagues - with a bit too much wine.
Find my thesis here: https://t.co/BCamblS64R
My thesis is titled "Integrating information in stress research", and it contains 12 delicious chapters on acute and chronic (early life) stress, in rodents and humans, software, databases, meta-analyses and stats. My *favorite* chapters? 9 and 10. https://t.co/BCamblS64R

Our next stellar speaker for this yrs @Stress_NL symposium is Dr. Valeria @VBonapersona, who will give her fascinating talk 'The mouse brain after foot shock in four dimensions: Temporal dynamics at a single-cell resolution'. Not to be missed! Register at https://t.co/pUtlVhVG7J
This years @Stress_NL meeting is full of fascinating research and fruitful networking opportunities! 🥳
We are excited to present 'speed dating for the love of science' where you can meet with experienced researchers and ask your questions! Book your slot at registration🧐🧪🧠
The Korosi-lab has a new opening for a PhD position on Mechanisms of transfer of maternal effects! Contact me if interested or please advertise to others that might be. https://t.co/FWkytzADF9
Great collaboration of Labs working on the human stress system! We created a Netherlands-wide database, with plans to expand it in the future. Wanting to contribute or access the data?
We're recruiting 1-2 postdocs to study epigenomic mechanisms of early life adversity's impact on reward behaviors. Use sc-transcriptomics etc, in TRAPPed amygdala, NAc, PVT cells. Interact with an inclusive, collaborative group. ⬇️

@jennyterry You can do a "consortium authorship". On the authors' list only the name of the consortium appears, but if you search for any individual author in PubMed, the paper will appear. So basically no, there's no difference
The Munich Winter Conference of Stress is pretty much *amazing*. If you get the chance, GO! The setting is informal, and really allows to interact with anyone - no matter the Prof. status. Also, it has a morning and evening program...with time to go skiing during the day ;)
We have 6 slots left for the Munich Winter Conference on Stress. If you want the chance to participate and meet all the experts in person, send me a personal message. More details on the event here: https://t.co/hKtiIU6TEq
Come join us for a Postdoc in California! employ #singlecell transcriptomics #merFISH and functional approaches to early-life #stress effects on #reward#amygdala#PVT. https://t.co/tm60YRjXYB https://t.co/7kYsgXLlJO
Current folks are getting own labs! @FENSorg@LisaMonteggia
