This month @ComdVCC received a commendation from @RoyalNavy 2SL @MartinJConnell. A well deserved award for Lt Hearn’s leadership and dedication to VCC & @rncadetforces. BZ Sir!
A 🧵 on @ComdVCC’s service with @VCCcadets ⤵️ 1/5
Our members had the honour of attending Diwali, the festival celebrating the spiritual victory of light over darkness, at @10DowningStreet hosted by the Prime Minister @Keir_Starmer. We offer our thanks to our @DefenceHindu colleagues for allowing us to join them #OneNavy 🪔⚓️🗡️
Absolutely brilliant for @815NAS to visit the @RoyalMarines@VCCcadets Summer Camp up at Holcombe Moor! Cadets are having a fab time meeting the crew and learning about the Wildcat!
Amazing to see our Cadets and Adult Volunteers sailing away to apply the valuable skills they’ve learnt shore side. Congratulations for the herculean effort from all those involved in making this happen 🙌🏽
You’re a fantastic advocate Louis; both for the organisation and the Cadets, providing the vital work that is often unseen, ensuring we’re offering the best experience to our members. Enjoy the break, but don’t go too far! Looking forward to seeing you back in uniform 🫡
And just like that, my last @X post as the Executive Officer (Support) to @VCCcadets. It’s been an incredible, sometimes emotional, 4 years in the volunteer role but I’ve loved every minute! Thank you to the cadets & volunteers of the VCC, you’re an incredible team. Never change!
Joining with CFAVs and adults from SE and London today to celebrate PRIDE in London @ArmyCadetsUK
Excited to see people being accepted for being their authentic selves.
Marching with other units from the Armed Forces and cadet forces.
Be inclusive! Be kind! Be an ally!
We are unbelievably proud to have attended the Chattri Memorial Service yesterday, representing the @VCCcadets. The memorial pays homage to the sacrifices of Hindu, Sikh and Muslim service personnel in the First World War. We will remember them.
In the @VCCcadets; equity, diversity and inclusion sits at the heart of everything we do and we welcome cadets and adult volunteers regardless of background, sexual orientation or gender identity.
Happy #PrideMonth!

Great to see cadets from across @RoyalNavy Cadet Forces working together to represent their respective organisations and shine a torch for the next generation. The enjoyment and benefit from these confidence building events is significant, all part of the worth of cadet service.
Today, we celebrate the incredible achievements, strength, and resilience of women across @VCCcadets & RN Cadet Forces. Let's continue to champion gender equality, support each other, and strive for a more inclusive and equitable future for all.
